My Little Girl
My little girl would be four
Young and free to have fun
Childish and foolish in play
And she would have been mine
My little girl wouldn’t have a dad
So young her mother would be
The secrets she would never know
And she still would have been mine
My little girl would be protected
Young and free from all the pain
The ugliness she would never see
And she would have been mine
My little girl would have been mine
Four on may twentieth this year
The pain that she didn’t have to suffer
And I had to be so sad that I miscarried
My little girl would have been a rape baby
Made by force and in the pain of the moment
I would never have told her as long as I was alive
And I would have held her close and protected her no matter who her father was.
Young and free to have fun
Childish and foolish in play
And she would have been mine
My little girl wouldn’t have a dad
So young her mother would be
The secrets she would never know
And she still would have been mine
My little girl would be protected
Young and free from all the pain
The ugliness she would never see
And she would have been mine
My little girl would have been mine
Four on may twentieth this year
The pain that she didn’t have to suffer
And I had to be so sad that I miscarried
My little girl would have been a rape baby
Made by force and in the pain of the moment
I would never have told her as long as I was alive
And I would have held her close and protected her no matter who her father was.
