Another young life gone
Mother falls to her knees
And prays for strength
Breathless from the pain
Black on black crime
Another child filling up the grave
I pray every night for this curse to end
Complacent living
Another one builds up the numbers
Have to unite as race to make a change
The pain should be felt
Deep in our heart
Reaching adult hood is like Russian roulette
Black race an endangered species
