Another Step

In life-like motion we make our moves
Step by step we carry what we lose
Thoughts spill from mouth and touch
We give what we need to take what soothes
Constrain these feelings into what we choose
Such vivid imaginings won't form to much
Hollow action won't make us strong or wise
As we walk these streets with heavy eyes

I haven't told the time enough lately
These days just seem to blend from daily
I don't know where I've placed myself
I can only see this reflection faintly
And all these emotions I'm stating plainly
Have completely ceased into existence itself
Not a single smile deserves these sighs
As I meet my friends with heavy eyes
