The Dance

He looked at her...
through eyes glazed
with the life of a man
who has lusted after
other women for far too many
other days...

Lidz open ....only a sliver

As he gazes upon her beauty
he tries not to remember...
what this feels like...

Knowing he is wrong for her...
Yet it feels...so right

As he engages her in
pleasant conversation...

She becomes starry eyed as her
natural nature responds to his
flirtation...

She tilts her head and he leans
in to kiss her with NO...Hesitation
As her pulse quickens...
His voice thickens...

Her eyes...extend the invitation

She wants his kisses to visit her flesh

As there eyes...mesh...

Yet...they have two very different
interpretations
Of this clandestine connection
She associates him with new love..
He...is only thinking of ways
she can soothe his erection

So here it goes that same ol song
of original sin....
Let the music start...
Let the dance...begin
