The mourning dew turns to rain
From ashes spread we rise again
The sun has cast an evening shade
Our mortal life will never fade
This distant pang of subtle defeat
The end of light -the death of conceit
Darkness greets with a neutral stain
A blackened void where purity reigns
Spoiled innocence from our first scar
The curse of sight stems from a star
The mourning dew turns to rain
From ashes spread we rise again
From ashes spread we rise again
The sun has cast an evening shade
Our mortal life will never fade
This distant pang of subtle defeat
The end of light -the death of conceit
Darkness greets with a neutral stain
A blackened void where purity reigns
Spoiled innocence from our first scar
The curse of sight stems from a star
The mourning dew turns to rain
From ashes spread we rise again
