The Heart Left Half Empty
The puzzle called my heart
Is now missing a piece
Because you took it with you
My happiness has ceased
Forever I'll remain alone
For you were the one
The one I called my other half
The one who made life fun
But now the joy that I once had
Has been ripped away
And I am left cold inside
Surviving day by day
I'll never lose this love for you
My heart always half empty
Maybe you'll see what you've done
And some day come back to me...

There are no words for how amazing this poem is. It is full of emotion that is easy to relate to if you've ever truly loved someone and had them break your heart. I felt this one personally. Wonderful job David. Keep it up.
