Marijuana was her name, she greeted you with smoke
Bringing smiles to all who dared, incited many jokes.
Ganja, Weed, Grass and Pot, just to name a few,
Other names she called herself, the best blend purple and blue.

We met by chance when I was young, an accidental greeting,
She teased me with her sexy scent, it had me from that meeting.
Afraid I was to hit the joint, I opted to observe,
A contact high took hold of me, it threw me for a curve.

Never had I felt like this, the feeling was outrageous,
So good it was I had a plan to make this shit contagious.
I shared this wealth of knowledge, with all who dared to listen,
Inside I prayed, for common sense, legality to hasten.

Bamboo paper, tobacco leaf, cigarette shoot or bong,
Mattered not the method used, the benefits were not wrong.
Hookah shared was sensual still, it turned you on a bit,
My favorite tool by far of all, was still a pipe to hit.

Lovemaking was the ultimate, romance, seduction, great
Combined with smoking weed for me, the best food on a plate.
The best dream of my life came true,I have to share this story,
I smoked my pipe, enjoyed the peace, orgasm shot with glory.

The first time that it happened, I thought it was a fluke,
As time went on I soon realized, this plant had taken root.
We fell in love, against all odds, the bond we had was pure,
From me she got the fire to light, euphoria from her was sure.

We never argued, never fought, this love was purely blissful,
Yet boredom never came for us, excitement but not stressful.
No dinner, movies, shows or gifts, no birthday celebrations,
A perfect union formed by us, peace and love our destination.

Doubtful folks from all around can question all they want.
Debate, insult, and ridicule us, we care not for their taunts.
Supreme Court rules next month on us, petition filed by chance,
A legal wedding is what we want, so all can come and dance.
