Wash rinse lather repeat
Drugs my love that escape you provide
running from shitty reality
my tormented repressed childhood
bruised battered and mentally fucked
self medicating my troubles
I got anxiety by the balls
I'm like a kid let loose in the candy store
so hand me those pills
I just want to get off my face
My Mary Jane diet washed down with vodka
so line them up I'll rack em up
while we are at it intravenous
nurse push the plunger
on the fast path to destruction
but I passed the 27 milestone years ago
an extended stay in the psyche ward
seems where my mind will find respite
we wash rinse lather repeat
the process always ends the same

There is a bleakness to this poem that I really like. I can 100% relate to the subject as I have had my brushes with drugs and addiction. There is also a fundamental honesty demonstrated, you are admitting the fact that you like drugs without inhabition and I can appreciate your cander.
