ideal vs real
in an ideal world
you'd have absolute freedom
of speech and of action
without a worry for adverse reaction
needless to say
where at this time we stay
actions have reactions
and not always pleasant
ya live in a real world
with real consequences
enjoye what you have
whilst working for what you don't
that working don't need mean
like kill or be killed
evolution is happening
and there will be a time
you'd have absolute freedom

she rang maddy ten times
whilst i guzzled vodka with lime
am thirty dinkin's no crime
peeps payin' i got no dime
she came found me passed out
yelled maddy ya fuckin lout
then kicked all the buddies out

it's morning sun up so high

this headache's killing no lie

two eggs and bacon on toast

misfit amongst the fittest
once a misfit
always a misfit
a lost cause said the mother
so he kept walking way the other
till he crossed the alley
and eventually the valley
a stowaway on a boat
landed on island remote
lives a lonely life
away from world's court
a misfit amongst the fittest
he was bound to fail the test
so he started walking
unbothered they kept talking
he lives amongst the leaves
away from societal peeves
a place he finally fits
till darkness finally hits
