LOVE POEM

Love,Shattered
In the beginning
our love
was like a dozen dozen roses
the petals pink
full of life
but as time marched on
our love
grew complacent
worn
and the colors started to fade
the petals dried
withered
died
and fell onto the floor
until all that was left
of our love
were thorns sticking us all
around
with heavy hearts
we grew apart
another love be found
unless of course
we correct our course
and...

MISCELLANEOUS POEM

Snipets of saddness
Bits and pieces
needles and pins
slit your wrists
the bleeding begins
Anorexic child
refusing to eat
fading away
stand her sideways
so you can't see her
Rude little boy
obnoxious and brash
opens his mouth to the wrong person
gets his face smashed
Popular girl
cheerful and bubbly
but on the inside
he really is ugly
oh sweet nightmare
candle light vigil
swirling colors dance
your head spinning
music pounds through your brain
spin spin spin
your going insane

DARK POEM

As I Lay Dying
I sit in a chair
in the back of my pain
stoically facing the terror again
Each and everyday
is a little slice of death
the minutes they slowly tick by
as I sit and I wait for my time to die
My face carries a blank stare
my eyes a soulless grey
exceedingly morbid
a permanent frown
as I sit and I wait
for my days to wind down
And they said silly boy can't you be free
But in the end
All I had was
me

Birth In Repose
A stone is cast into the water
A small ripple heads for shore
It finds its way across the distance
And draws strength from the seas support
The sea nurtures the ripple into a wave
The wave reaches for the sky
And draws back water from the land
As it prepares to die
Just before it crashes down
achieving its final strike
It casts a stone into the water
Where a ripple finds new life

You only have yourself
A one way mirror
My soul reflecting only what it sees
Evil, cruelty, despair, fear
The reality of, humanity
I will never comprehend
Why man hates one another
Why we hurt when we should help
Why we kill when we should save
Why we don’t see we are all the same
Even within one’s own family,
Divisions run
It is clear to me, that humans,
Are meant to be
Solitary beasts
My soul reflecting only what it sees
Evil, cruelty, despair, fear
