Bloody pillows
Burried in bed, face down, heart racing.
Back against the sky as if I've been dropped.
Heart beats so loud it's shaking the headboard,
You'd think I was in love...
Of all the things I should have ran from,
I followed my nose across the line.
What's missing?
A clean pillow and a slay of excuses.
If I turn over to look up for God,
The truth would drip down my face.

A desperate charm of madness
And the mystery of fear.

Green eyes only turn black
Like the shadows who whisper about
The talents that I lack.
Screams like a banshee when
I try to shine my light
It's simple to see like
The pathetic words that I write.
Call it a freebie, a pass or a farewell,
She turns the church of love into a
Firery jail cell.
An eternity of hell
is better than spending
One more day with you...

Should have known better as a kid

Chain smokin
Looking out the window holding back my tears,
Chain smokin newports just to distract me from my fears.
Makin deals with the devil just to get on a higher level, 20 years off my life he can kill me on schedule.
Money's the only thing that matters...
And im crazier than the hatter...
Gaining mass exercising demons,
But that doesn't even matter...

Empty space
Never have I known who I was,
Until the opinions of others shaped me.
No matter how you piece me together,
There's always a empty space.
Growing older by the day,
With an hourly wage pay,
All I am is a serial number
With an experatation date.
Keep fighting the good fight they say,
As they pat me on the back...
They all want to know where I'm going,
And love to take a wild guess...
Applying pressure to my temple,
With an explosion of mess.
Where are you going he says,
As I look at mans best...

No choice or conflict.
I could never figure it out.
Madness grasps my heart,
And chaos pets my brain.
If I could personally say goodbye,
Would that be too much to ask?
There's a combination to a safe I know.
Inside are 2 fully loaded guns.

And neither have ever held my hand.

Dust on the floor,
and a galaxy of gold.
A catalyst of desires,
and a prisoner of the present.

As we peel back the curtains.

Oddly enough it's true
About all the things they say.
The tests of time and mismatched pieces
are quite the game to play.
A secret list of actions attacking your attention,
Just like written code or a picture set in stone.

Simple words are more complexed,
But it was all just a lie...
Im the nursery rhyme you'll sing to your child.
I'm the pharphoe of explanation.
Of all the things the people whisper,
The wind echoes my name...

Strangled
If footsteps echo through the halls,
How loud do you think the screams will be?
If the walls are leaking from the rain,
How many tears does it take until you drowned?
If your behind bars with no bail, how long will you stay locked inside yourself?
Closing my eyes brings nothing but pain, and the waking world haunts me as if I were frightened.
My nightmares won't stop,
they pour over into the dawn.
I accept my fate,
For their is no hope.
Soon ill be pushing up daisies,
With my own hands around my throat.
