his kiss and smile fixing the broken person i was
smiling from one ear to the other
and then i open my eyes
and you're no longer there

the loneliness
the hurt
the pain
it all fixes when i close my eyes

me and you laying down
head on your heart
smiling and saying the words i've never said to anyone
you say it back and kiss my forehead
but now i am back in reality
