The Saga Of Kind King Tal
Trees are slow to think
Trees don't care to speak
Trees are slow to anger
Until you turn their sap to ink
If you do this with out asking
And take a fairies home
Words written with his skin
Have sealed your fate in stone
If you make him walk on two legs
And come and ask you why
If you don't answer kindly
Don't be surprised
When the sap begins to fly

War of Words
And now
My pen Cries havoc
And lets slip the ink of war
For my words have found the world wanting
And must give my tongue the sword
Before my teeth grow sharper
An uncontrolled violence
Must now replace the silence
A legion of letters
Placed in paragraphed platoons
Must march forward
Like literary soldiers
On a poet’s orders
To crush the sins
Of gloom
My pen Cries havoc

The Hounds
With her last breath
She whispered please
And so they come
Like the fingers that closed around her throat
Their teeth are cruel and stronger than their prey
For every fathers impotent rage.
Every last shriek that has yet to vent its motherly wrath.
For every fallen victim that had the will
But not the strength to rise.
There is an echo in time
Each time another pulse,
Another twig snapping,
Another drum beating,
Another mouth growling,
Another voice howling
Another angry beat rising
For every cruel deed that goes unpunished...

to my fahter
Bind the darkness as it calls me
I have no taste for cruelty
Or sorrow
Disperse the dark thoughts
That cling like liquid sludge
On an alcohol infested brain
Bring forth your anger
That I might taste your rage
And put it to bed
I have no time for patience
I have no idea
Of the meaning of virtue
But bind the darkness as it calls me
turn your anger into dust
I have no time for useless rage
That serves only
To chase away the rainbows
That will only come again
No matter how loud you scream
Enter again...
I have no taste for cruelty

A Burnt Out Log
Hollow
Empty
Black and burned
Temporary shelter
From the cold white snow
One last hint of life
Hidden from the coming storm
The unforgotten memories
Of a half burnt piece of wood
Delay the inevitable freeze
For a small handful of green leaves

Draw me a portrait
Of the artistry that is our lives
Each paint a master stroke
On a constantly changing canvas
Each soul a pigment
And picture onto itself
A vast conspiracy of brilliance
As these colors combine
To form the pattern and hue

I AM
And even if you forget all else
Remember that I love you
Eye I the ever present, omnipresent I
Eye am all things
And I love you
And if there is a god let it be known that I am
Eye am
The ever present
Ever striving I
Eye am
The I sees, and the Eye remembers
That I am
Eye am unconditional
Eye am cruel and unyielding
I am the love of a mother for her child
I am the love of a predator for its prey
As the mother cups the cute chubby faced infant to her milky breasts
As the cougars claws tear smoothly past the deer’s soft brown...

Cumbersome
This wieght that I carry
Of skin and flesh
Blood and bone
Has become so heavy
That I can not stand
I'd reach for a razor
But I feel the moving sands
my heart pulls me backwards
Makes its own demands
The blood that must trickle
Can not be my own
I have to keep on walking
Or I will never make it home
Only one thing that I lack
Even fools know
You can never go back
Of skin and flesh
Blood and bone
Has become so heavy
That I can not stand

Broken Wings
Falling down from starry sky
Tripping on a pedestal
I never learned to fly
Dirty feathers
Broken wings
My ears go deaf
When angels sing
I am broken
Battered
And bruised
My spine is shattered
But still I move
Iron will
The Iron wheel
Won't stop turning
Won't stop burning
Won’t stop learning
And I can never rest
Can never wrest my soul
From the Iron wheel
I am the child of chaos
Brute force
Chain reaction
My life
Is a canvas of pleasure
And pain
Burnt for my sins?
I AM REBORN IN FIRE
