POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
My worst fear is to be born with passion for something that I have no talent for.
Eros’ Wife Assured
No one so long in history
Has loathed the sun more than me
By the ever-Grace of the setting sun
Do I bid the dark to me
For in the songs the morning birds sing
And the chimes the church bells ring
He is never in any of them
My beloved, his fair identity
For in the light of the new moon he reigns
Over my dreams, my truths and pains
From his comfort to his assurance
And our empty palace, he remains
Has loathed the sun more than me
By the ever-Grace of the setting sun
Do I bid the dark to me
For in the songs the morning birds sing
And the chimes the church bells ring
He is never in any of them
My beloved, his fair identity
For in the light of the new moon he reigns
Over my dreams, my truths and pains
From his comfort to his assurance
And our empty palace, he remains

Bride by Night
My darkness is surreal and complete.
I am blind as a human in this night
And I know nothing of fear, but sweet
Caresses of underrated delight.
As if my eyes have been lost to the sun
yet forgetting how bright it could be.
My body undulating beneath his heat
While he consumes me voraciously.
When the day comes, he goes before I wake
I justify him a great fantasy,
That only my lonely... mind could ever make
up my husband, but this child within me.
