The Silence
The silence comes before noon, when no one else is awake.
No one to tell your stories to. No memories to partake.
That one idea that you had will be lost and fade away.
It's just you in your thoughts, expected to start the day.
Shuffling around through filth and clutter.
Yes you wrinkle your face and shudder.
You would cry for help, but bare no other.
The day drags on with little to pass the time.
Several people shuffle through your mind.
Busy with their own lives, they lack the time.

Darkness in a mother's love
Oh I love the way you laugh. I love the way you smile when you look at me back.
And you know I love your eyes when they twinkle with surprise.
And you know I love your curls, every swish, and every twirl.
I love the way you bumble around always needing me to help you out.
I'll clean up all of your messes. I'll do all of the dishes.
I will support us through scores and busts.
I will light your way so that you may see in the dark.
My shining star, my brightest light.
And I love your shrill cry and the way...

Appreciating the subtlety
Is it worth it? The slow fleetingly days that fade. Would love if you would whisk me away into darker shades.
It's a pain. I have so much to say. Maybe if I remember I can try to catch you around on the second time.
Might our fingers intertwine on this, our only night? Walking down side walks in the dimming street lights.
You have such a commanding presence. Your clothes your hair all smell of your own unique fragrance.

The days they begin dim and dull. My mind floods over with insipid thoughts. Annoying sounds come in without knocking, invading my skull.
What is that? Voices, I do hear. Vibrations through the dark and drear. I notice them. They pray tell, that I listen and listen well.
"Remember," they say. "Remember," tears through the darkened gray.
I turn over to my side, trying to regain comfort I cannot find. I had it but a moment ago when my dreams still gripped me. Regain the comfort I cannot find. Regain the dreams that must have slipped my mind. Once again I hear, "Remember." Once...

A war wages on the inside. I'm overcome by insanity. Blow your breath unto my candle to relax my calamity.

Inhales, suck in the toxic fumes.
Set fire to your lungs, exhales.
Groan, as if it pains you.

The failure to control your song, hushed lover.
Voice, sing sweet profanity.
Peaked ears of curiosity, moist.
Shift, rustled covers and sheets.

A wispy hint of cat.

Search you, I will. A curious nose.
As I nibble on your neck.
Scents of iron and of sweat.
Upon a closer inspection.
A masculine musk at your intersection.
Soft delicate weave.
Pressed to my lips, I breathe.
Locks of earth and stale air.
Subtle, sweet, and rather fair.
I want to roll in your aroma.
Overwhelming, blissful a coma.
I want to mark you and make you mine.
My supreme ruler, hailed devine.
