Attic
Ascend into my attic
you will see
boxes of wisdom
trinkets of doubts
Glasses of shattered memories
intellectual thinking guarded by insecurities
drapes covering blinded uncertainties
Old clothes worn from a little girl wanting to become a woman so eagerly
Snapshots of lovers that ended abusively
Plaques of sacrifices and a penny to show for it
Keepsake wounds of emotional neglect
the makings of me
With no regrets
Pain makes the brain stronger
It will always remain

Denied EnTRY
Replays of deception
torching my soul
images of rejection
added to my attic
of unwelcomed thoughts
I can still feel the wetness from your last caress on my neck
Staring into your eyes
I knew it was the kiss of death
There was never a "good-bye"
Just the
"I'll talk to you tomorrow"..
bullsh!t lie
Tomorrow came and showed it's ass
My heart stopped pumping
that day
I was denied entry
from a person who intent was to never stay..

Dimensions of suffering
Creating time to add chaotic thoughts in my mind
Pressure cooker
The taste of misery from my occupational pleasure
The deal is sealed
My destructive treasure
The devil's poison got everyone rejoicing
Even the truth bleeds out on the hands of the heartless
Picking knowledge out the dumpster of the most beautiful trash
Don't close your eyes
They got tricks in the stash
Smiles turn into evil grins
Now I must ask
Who's dimension are you in?

Queen of Cups
Queen?
Why is that cup in your hand?
Could it be from society judging you everywhere you stand?
Maybe it's full from the overflowing tears of detachment
laced with a high potency of tribulations
and sorrow
You tried
It didn't work
Maybe they didn't see your beautiful worth
Intuitive soul
A luminous glow
Everyone through your thoughts are moving in slow mo
Queen?
Why is that cup in your hand?
Is it empty from the endless sacrifices
buried deep within your eyes?
Causing tsunami waves clashing...
Why is that cup in your hand?

His warmth takes 8 minutes to reach my face
Not hard to differentiate
Love from lust
Just like the Midas touch
Take my dreams and turn it into reality

When he lays down to rest
The reflection of his divine nature can still be seen from the soft light of the moon
In my room
I sit and reflect

Bringing into existence an understanding that only the two of us can see
The distance may seem so far
But you are always right here with me
