you think it's easy for me
you've watched me bleed too many times
incarcerating me
you don't know the prison of my mind
you don't know the pain that I have
you think you're saving me
don't use blood ties you're constricting me
love is not a vice
no medication for these ulcers

don't try to placate me

I swallowed the battery
frenzy in my neuro pathways
emotional engulfment plaguing me
my essence erodes from the inside
resentment simmers within
wide awake and I quake with the longing
I beg the monsters to take me with them

of this black hole?

the binds of grief remain unbearably vivid
sacrifice my name for the sake of remembrance
justify my blame with aims of self reflection
ignore the tear in the aorta of my heart
where is the balm that will heal this affliction
it eludes me as I struggle with the constriction
I've almost acclimated to the break in my constitution
is it a loosened grip or is my mind slipping?
one day the waves will wash me ashore
