LOVE POEM

Internal Conflict
He thinks before speaking a word,
Like he's playing a game of chess!
One imperious move-
Damn! He's lost! Checkmate !!!
He smiles even when he's hit by the waves of doom,
He masquerades happiness to please his chauvinistic ego.
"What will she think of me if she sees me shed tears?"
- Is his simplest fear.
With his mind as his owner
He makes a bouquet of words,
Choosing each word- a flower with celestial aroma
But- will she be impressed? Oh! His trauma
To understand her feelings
He relies on their conversation ...

Heartbreak or hope?
Just another ordinary story- It started with a 'HI'
I thought pages wouldn't suffice
Just after I completed writing the first page
You said- " I'm sorry! Goodbye!"
We would express how we felt about each other at night,
Make efforts to be in each other's sight,
But, why is it now it's only I who bleed?
While she and you are planting your's love seed.
It is with my blood I'll help you nurture your love,
For I always want you to be chuffed
The promises you swore by the river bed,
Wouldn't it be better had they never been made?
...

THE NIGHT
The night is still and calm,
When people sleep; I sit folding my arm.
I enjoy the silence and the peace,
Which during the day I miss.
To all, the night is 'Darkness'
For me it is the light of hope
The time to pacifically paint my life,
With the dreams, I see, with open eyes.
The night is the only time i feel her so close,
The time I'm free from remorse;
It is the time I find myself flying in the air,
Miles away from the touch of despair.
'Tis the time I speak to the stars and the moon,
All about her- my...

Death-Wait a Little
Just yesterday Love, in me was born,
It brought me a rose with a thorn,
It made me spend the days in trance,
And nights were spent, hoping to steal her glance.
Spring has set its foot in my garden after long,
Although its happiness, to me, did not belong,
With every blossoming flower, Death walked towards me,
O Death! Wait a little, let me for sometime more, in this world be...
O give me some time to ride the waves of the sea,
Some time to relax, unlike the busy bee.
Some time to peel off the mask and endure the pain,

What is "Love"?
What is the feeling of "love"?
Is it the feeling we think we know?
Does it bring happiness or sadness?
Or, Does it reward us with the things we sow?
Does it make someone bigger than our Life?
Is it Love who makes us strive?
O please tell me- what the feeling of love is
Is it something or someone whom we acutely miss?
Does Love make us a day-dreamer?
Is it Love who transforms us in to a great thinker?
Does it convince us to befriend loneliness?
Or, it is the brilliant light oh Hope in complete darkness?

FRIENDS
Friends are the gifts from God,
Given to us with great thought
They always are near and happily kisses the pain,
But never leaves us alone when we are in vain.
They always endeavour,
Whenever we need a favour!
Although crazy themselves- they try to be sane
When guiding us through the happy lane.
For all our traumas and distress,
They are our unguent
They are the trees,.
Who on a very hot day provides us with soothing breeze.
They are the zephyr in our life,
That continuously blows,
They help the rivers...

The Traveller
Tired and exhausted he laid down on the sand
He has walked all day under the hot and scorching sun
Being in the arms of hunger and thirst
All night with his Soul he conversed
The Angel of Death awaits his soul
Yet he is determined to reach his goal..
What his goal is, is not yet known
Only his Heart knows it,for there it was sown.
His bare foot turned crimson
His body reduced to a framework
What is it that he chases despite the sufferings?
What is it that does not let him rest?
I sit and wonder what gives him the...

I will return someday...
To watch you enter the room again,
Again to watch you enter my life,
To fall more deeply in love,
To overcome all remorse that had developed...
To walk to roads hand-in-hand,
To listen to your favourite band,
To hug you by the riverside,
Till the dusk fades into the night...
To listen to the promises you make,
To feed you what I learnt to bake,
To sit and dream together by the shore,
To feel your love - just a little more...
This life was short With lots to be done,
Don't be sad, I'll reborn ...
Again to watch you enter my life,

Feeling Lonely
You remember how I used to play?
With you around...
You remember how I used to cry in fear?
When the sound of thunder reached the ground...
You remember how you used to run behind me?
With that steel plate filled with food...
You remember how you lulled me to sleep?
Telling me stories so good...
You remember my laughter?
So loud that it filled the air...
You remember your love for me?
The one with ever lasting care....
You remember you were the person most close to me?
Did you ever think without you what I will be?

IT IS NOT GOODBYE
You walk up to the door; and pause
Neither of us speaks anything; we know the cause;
Neither do you want to go away, nor do I want to let you go
But you have to go away; in our hearts there’s nothing but sorrow.
Happy I was to have a fish in my lone aquarium,
A storm prevailed over it; you made it calm
I know you love me and always will
No separation can affect our love; nothing can kill.
There may be no intersection of palm lines in my hand to keep us together
I am not even so powerful to hold you back
But I have a heart that will beat only...

My Angel
MY ANGEL
Being buried under the reforms of life,
The only thing I could see- the remnants of the sunset;
The moment I was about to quit my strive-
The journey took an unexpected turn, where, with her, I first met.
Now I think, was it the road that turned? Or-
Was it she, who by her mystical power, turned the road??
She entered into my life to rescue me from the abattoir,
And made my life beautiful- like The Paradise of God.
She is my Angel, most true of all and most beautiful-
With profound eyes; - the cage to hide her...

Angel
Up on the frozen mountain top, sits a lad-
In the darkness of the night;Solitude his only company
The kiss of his beloved, when they were in love, now makes him mad,
The chill winds that rips the veins-to him,is very funny..
Lonely he is, as he always was,
Happiness that lasts for long, is not his cup of tea
Illusion is the only flower he has in his beautiful vase
Even when the breeze blows away from the coldness,it is he,who doesn't flee
He seeks the warmth to survive-from the dreams of his Angel
He cannot let his tears...
