WHY?
Why can't I get enough of you?
For just one moment of the day I want to know peace.
But all of the memories of us haunt me without any hope of an ending.
There is great pain in knowing I can't touch you or see your smile when I need it most.
Am I that unlovable and forgetable that you don't need me in the same way?
Just once in my life, I'd like to have MY happy ending.
I know I'm never going to experience that unless it is with you.
YOU are the ONE that I was meant to be with.
There hasn't been a doubt in myheart ever since our 1st kiss.

Confusion
Wonder where to go from here,
been crying everyday.
Do I keep on holding on,
while he pushes me away?
I need his arms around me,
been waiting far too long.
But never been in love like this,
and scared that I've been wrong.
I've lost myself in moments
that never should have been.
But the only time I feel at peace
is when I am with him.
Time to pull myself together,
allow my strength to grow.
I've always known deep down inside,
I'll never let him go!

The Darkest Part of Love
The darkest part of love I fear is not the bitter end.
It's all the insecurities and love he doesn't send.
Does he really care enough to give his heart to me?
Am I just a second thought?
Were we meant to be?
And in the end will he choose to share his life once more?
Or will he turn his back on me and walk right out the door?
My friends tell me I'm just a pawn in his twisted little game.
They're the ones who see my cry, so they are notto blame.

A Hand to Hold
In my heart you hold a place that no one else can fill.
You've given me a special giftthat no one ever will.
My journey up to this point was paved with many tears.
Broken hearts and shattered dreams, plaguing me for years.
Then an Angel interveined and took the pain away.
Said, "Here's a hand for you to hold each and everyday."

He Comes to Me in Dreams
He comes to me in dreams at night and whispers in my ear,
"I'm here to take you home with me. There's nothing left to fear."
He stays with me and holds me close each and every night.
But slowly fades, then vanishes with the coming of the light.
When I awake I realize it's all been fantasy.
I can only pray one day, it becomes reality.
He'll come to me in dreams again; of that I'm well aware.
I hope someday when I awake I'll see him standing there.
He'll smile at me and take my hand, I've waited for so long.
To share his life and...

Another Lonely Night
As I sit here inthe sand and gaze upon the sea,
I wish for nothing more right now then for you to be with me.
To share the beauty of the sky as sunset dims the light,
But all I have to look forward to is another lonely night.
No matter my depth of love for you, the hurdles that I leap,
You just don't feel the same for me, I cry myself to sleep.
Tears are nothing new to me, they're with me everyday,
Nothing left for me to do but fold my hands and pray
