LOVE POEM

Only you
Bright rays of sunshine wake me to the presence of anothyer day with you
Dreams fade slowly into reality and I know the love we share is true.
Contentment follows ecstasy to a paradise I've never known existed
I remember what I thought was love, but my view was coimpletely twisted.
Knowing the comfort of one touch with your loving hands wiill make everything alright.
When we are apart, thoughts that only implore for you to hold me tight.
Relieved I let my guard down for the right heart to bond with mine.
Not sure how our paths even crossed, I know it must be...

Venom Trickles
venom trickles down his thigh
droplets splatter against the earth and sink
Poisionous saliva from one of man's admirer's
and all he can do is lay ther, afraid to even blink
Corrosion of this time has come and left us now
Left to eat away the edges of oiur every fear
Even while we fight this natural existence
Torrid weather beats our skin
The rage is within the human soul
Loaded on terrorism, humanity cries out
Evil deepens, while goodness remains somehow.
Point out the flaws, instead of the even ocean tides rythym.

Time and Truth
Aged eyes, old as the sky
Picking up pictures of clear vision.
Birds flocking to the next water source.
And the days seem like years.
Mirrored reflections give away her youth
Seeing the world from decades of experience.
She has watched the world grow and change,
And she has changed with it.
The indians moved out of their homes,
Culture and knowledge not made a priority
No one living with the land.
When she lay broken, deserted and hurt
Being kicked around by a white policeman.
Cozy sauna built for two
On the...

The mask
The shadows disfigure the mortal form
Bent up oddities moving frantically;
All that is real fades into the nothingness
And everything is nothing, but an illusion.
Dripping, like blood, from the candlelight.
Into an open sphere that surrounds reality;
Never staying in one shape for long
Just a momentary truth and now is gone.
Any real moment in time, you must look beyond
For it is just the mask of this soceity..
Hiddin within, containing motives under the surface;
Leaves us all open for brutal assasination.

Sincerely Aware of my LOVE 4 YOU.
The crackling fire spits sparks into the night sky
The atmosphere, alive, with bright hues of burnt sienna
Illuminating your spirit with pure beauty, sadness cannot thrive.
Love more real than any I have known..
Your eyes are so blue, not even a hint of a storm cloud approaching.
Your smile makes me forget every other lover I've known.
Every part of my body throbs in anticipation of your touch...............
I never saw it coming, blinded by emotions and lies
Leaving welts you left on my soul, so damaged
Your bitterness eats me...

ETERNAL LOVE
Brilliant light shining among the dark
He holds my hand, he holds my heart.
Walk with me far away from here
I need you close, I want you here.
Tadpoles dance to the moonlight serenade
Watching life evolve, while stars dance and play.
How awesome is his name!
Never wanting our guilt and shame.
Seeking advancement in my spiritual place,
I close my eyes and see your face.
Engulfed within a sea of freedom and grace,
Feeling surreal, eternally grateful for every good memory that stays.
Evil things are no match for peace.
Making all the nightmares...

LICK MY WOUNDS
Tomorrow is today is tomorrow
A never ending saga of emotional turbulence
Breaking through the cloud of judgement and whispers
My feet are aching and in pain me so.
My heart is shattering as we speak.
My love is almost nonexistent.
He looks at me through intoxicated, glazed eyes
Angry again, yelling at me for something I did or didn't do.
I go to my happy place, my self-destructive shelter.
Why? Why do I do this to myself?
What makes me stay a prisoner within these walls...?
When I am a free spirit that wants to fly with the eagles....

PRETTY POISON
Try to call me
Make me feel you
Such in a turmoil that I can't
....................Even breathe
You say you love me
You say you want me to be the best i can be
But now i feel suffocated and i don't know what to do
Sickened by the sight of my own self
I can't believe that you can look at me
With eyes of degradation, seeping into me like a ravenous creature
I can't believe it has come to this,
When you peer into my soul and you feel like you don't know me anymore
Why is it that I have become such a burden to you.
