Black Summer Moon
There is a boundary between your breath
And the edge of the universe.
A thin blanket of stars
And heaven, sprinkled like fresh snow
On their floor of your eager tongue.
Digested ripples of water,
Greeting the surrender of your lips,
Lips that open the door of my pen-
A lover’s memoir, dancing to the chimes
Of silent bells, bending time within our hearts
With melted sorrows held under the hostage
Of seventeen moons, and flowers dressed in gold,
Dressed in sleeping fingertips.
I am the halo
That swims in your hair,...
And the edge of the universe.
A thin blanket of stars
And heaven, sprinkled like fresh snow
On their floor of your eager tongue.
Digested ripples of water,
Greeting the surrender of your lips,
Lips that open the door of my pen-

Frost and Confessions
December was written on her
Face, masquerading in purple
Lips and snow. Her body tasted
Like beautiful left out in the cold.
When she didn’t speak
To them, lost birds refused to fly
Away, resting in the death
Of winter, sleeping in her arms.
I carry her eggs
Inside my womb,
Keeping her spirit alive.
When I’m alone, I bleed.
I kiss flowers
From her lips,
Shattering like love.
Her lips speak of freedom,
Taking fancy flights
Up there, with the moon;

Purple
You been standing here, next to me...
Sun been shining' in your hair for quite awhile,
Holding these pyramids in our hands
Having fun.
Lemon drops, chained together...that's all right.
Let me kiss your golden smile
Until the sun goes down...
Until the sun goes down.
Angel of amethyst,
You are the heavenly hour,
The space where the moon goes
To lay its weary head.
Its light left us sleeping on giant sheets of glass,
Turning our love into stone,
Like mountains, stretching out to God for help
We stand at the gate,...

The Ghost of Bevali Gatenby
The white in this poem is black,
Resting somewhere on memory's cloud.
The remains of her ghost,
Are porcelain and stoic,
Living in nocturnal daylight.
Her heart beating faster in death,
Breathing, falling into patterns of life that exist
For those lucky or fortunate enough
To know the season of her grin.
The shadow of her limited light, that piercing ray of disobedience
Followed its own path, turning away from religion and rule.
Uninhibited and dangerous,
Peeking through that dark curtain,
Searching for darker men, keeping her...

Joy Division
On your knees
And bow before me, she said
Her dark Egyptian fingers
Giving orders to my will.
I crossed her ocean carpet
Wearing a flower in my hand.
Chocolate Chip fine, she was like
Erica Mitchell, only sweeter.
Electric blue toes
And electric blue hair
Ocean girl,
A hover over heaven,
The face in the storm,
Looking beyond the torn fence.
Can I get closer?
I like the taste of a watered
Kiss upon my lips, standing
Barenaked in the house of God.
Blue took her time, licking the night.

Finding Avalon
There’s an ache inside this room,
Between the pillows and the floor,
An ache that I adore,
Wearing nothing.
A sting aimed to soar,
Exploring the red divine,
Her thoughts are in flight and
I listen to the winds
Of her soul, full of shrill
And cream, buying time
For the ice to melt
Inside her early morning bruise.
As if beauty was death,
The night was done, spilling her
Onto a blue mattress, unsealed
And mislead, looking through her skin for clues.
Stars watch her from their perch,
Soaring above...
Between the pillows and the floor,
An ache that I adore,
Wearing nothing.

Atonement
Atonement comes to me
In my dreams
Dressed like a nun...
Blindfolded
Wearing black leggings
With crotch less panties,
Holding a whip
And a cross
Between her legs.
She sits in an oversized gothic chair
Wet, like tears
The moon, standing over her shoulder
Watching her movements
Like a medieval bodyguard.
Her sticky fingers
Summon me to the carpet.
I greet her at the edge
Of the red velvet runner,
Bowing to her feet.
She takes a drag from a rain cloud
And exhales....
The wind screams in my face...

Long Hair
Grab that cloud
And touch this Jesus air bender
Groovy love jones
Cyberspace odyssey.
You and the wind
On a downhill collision with free....
The ultimate tongue kiss
Surfboard shoulder touches
Feel the swivel in her hips
Red
Green
Blue
And yellow tasty cakes
Magic marker flings
Jumping from Kilimanjaro
into the sun
Bikini tight
Gimme that orange anyday...
Blue ice slide Aquarians
And water
Glacial snow cones making waves
Ridin out like oceans
Chained to intergalactic winds
Bodysurf love fest...

Under the Red Light
Under the red light,
The rainbow has come,
Tossing her colors into Neruda’s sea.
Tonight, we will leave this world,
And give the skin room to breathe,
Soaking it in a swirl of majesty.
Days like this were once behind us,
Written in books that will never dream
Of being opened. She will dream for them,
Removing fabric, giving her soul to the sacrifice.
To love her is to read her mind.
Her gypsy breasts desire Pandora’s touch.
Calypso Frelimo, amplified and surrounding,
Tying her limbs with water.
A century gone,...
