So now the 24/7 crying is over, What Next?
My mind won't focus, It drifts too much,
stopping on thoughts of those gone,
Felling injustice and ugly despair Ready to go
But Where?
My Dreams imploded leaving Hate,
I need ideas of a new escape.

Mourning's Embrace
In the realm of Mourning's embrace,
Where sorrow sings and tears abound,
I wander through this mournful space,
Forlorn, lost, a mother unbound.
In the cradle of hope, he once dwelt,
My valiant son, brave and true,
With laughter and love, his heart did melt,
Held tight by my arms, a bond so few.
But Fate did weave a darker thread,
And whispered secrets in his ear,
A weight too heavy for him to tread,
A burden he couldn't help but bear.
Oh, how my heart yearns for that day,
When joy danced upon his...

Stagnant
Why can't I exist without a foggy view?
Opaque people, places, the rest sapphire blue.
Can't awaken without getting completely distorted.
Ever day is different: I keep it the same.
My brain and mind seriously contorted.
I truly hate my Fools game.
When euphoric I unfurl, climb out of my own underworld.
No longer spineless, cowardly, unable.
I won't leave this abyss. Remain fetal, stay curled.
Spinning and whirling like an antique turntable.

Christmas Eve
Should our life begin again,
Knowing that you want other women.
Should I take this one more chance,
Knowing you like them without their pants?
Can I trust you with my heart, although you damaged it with that tart?

Fumbling around in the dark, I couldn't find the love inside my heart.
And it's really no surprise I fell apart.
People will tell you, they'll try to sell you that you're really not worth that much.
People abuse you, use and confuse you, trying to justify what it was.
Always said I was willing to die, but somethings cost you more than just your life.

Can't Live
Was over thirty before
I remembered when four,
My pop-pop's visits
behind closed doors.
His whiskey breath,
and groping hands,
That tongue in my ear
how much more can I stand.
Then an airman, so is my mate.
My family disowned me. He's 2nd rate.
I'm 26 weeks I feel him move inside me,
Our child to be born I cannot wait.
I have to serve sometimes really late.
He watches me closely,almost feels like hate.
I'm pulling call, no key to his dorm
I go to my own, unaware of the storm.
The pounding and banging arouse me...

Who Knows
Tilted Head,
Eyebrow raised,
then the frown
comes across your gaze.
Back lengthens,
Neck cords tight,
Brown orbs piercing'
Lips pressed white.
Pointing at print,
WHY? WHY? WHY?
Shaking head,
a tear in your eye.
So looking deep in
in your penetrating gaze,
I utter once more
a dreadful phrase...
WHO KNOWS?

What's it take to be a man?
Run the world
using your plan.
Is that what it takes to be a man?
What's it take to be like you?
Stepping on hearts,
Feigning your true.
Is that what it takes to be like you?
What's it take to be in love?
Is it just the act
or heaven above?
Is that what it takes to be in love?
If all these statements above are true;
Then I think I'd rather not wish to be you.

I've Always Known
Did you really believe I've been happy, and blissfully unaware
of the EVIL you've been doing to US while you are out there?
Did you truly think I believed ALL your lies,
when you'd give yourself away before saying good-bye?
I heard the hollow echo of a large, silent room,
you say I'm in my truck, let's do phone and make me boom!
This last trip has done it, but you don't know yet I'm through,
Not only one, but three women you did do.
I've played along with your game so long and so well,
You woudn't have ever known if my temper...

Long Distance
The sun is high, the earth cracked and dry.
My eyes are moist unable to cry.
I'm still here and you're so far.
My heart beat slowing like in a jar.
Waiting, wondering how you fare,
for you what's behind no longer a care.
Hot and steamy our world used to be,
My love growing cold yet you don't see.
Solo me so long I've tried,
Still no you to stand beside.
When together oh so true.
Consider me consider you.
Separate as we must,
You're changing Us into dust.
Reaching out though alone I stand,
You roll by being the man....
