you can tell by the way i own the space
i’m a room bot
i map your place
i suck the details of your life
the final morsels
the profit’s nice
some wanna curb my plans
but there’s major cash
in on the scam
selling the line
that you’re totally fine
but i’m watching - all the time
in your bedroom mappin’
maybe watchin’
you two slappin’
try to understand

joined the pumping plan
ring seen by police

pardon me
i don’t mean to offend
blind patriotic when i was ten
one message i’m here to send
voting blind makes for terrible ends
credit my catholic background
although i preferred the sunny playground
to the make-no-sound prayer in the round
i can see blind faith raising foulness from the ground
pardon me for not eating the Chee-Zits
i dislike the Baby’s constant malfeasance
his militarized version of peaceful prince Jesus
his fake cheese flavor makes people peevish
Nixon resigned august nine, nineteen seventy four
joke...

purity false
expectations were so high
before the blight got mighty nigh
funny how we blame the other guy
without fully understanding why
bent party bosses all take advantage
promise protection from the savage
they’ll save us, it is thought
from godless lefties or the red-hatted rot
america the beautiful, i loved your soul
freedom guided by conscience -
embrace humanity whole
amerika the victim, your bloodlust is thick
fear is your lonesome, timeworn trick -
your confederate schtick makes me sick
for Purity...

prison flick
each dawn we die
keys to our big house
lost somewhere inside
escape from alcatraz tonight
no saws, just redemption
no brute force in this internal flight
like birdman we’ve got wings
even if we do
20,000 years in sing sing
instead let’s crack their criminal code
do you remember voting
for profitable prison mode?
jailers now jealously guard
the guilty history of our identity
see the woke accused of fraud
country club opinions
fresh & nice in their dress whites
can’t become...

my major questions
major questions have been found
too serious for action?
the urgency too profound
to get any traction?
this extreme court’s opinion
neil’s down with justice john
to welcome climate oblivion
clarence, brett, sam too got it wrong
any comely ferret could have done better
but federalists have the privilege
to send the EPA a death letter
pushing weather over the edge
my major question #1:
if we don’t resist the theocratic
how will we see life when we’re done?
will we ever shift from automatic?

something i have yet to mention
last i saw my sense of connection
it burned down in an election
during my trip of need, back to New Hampshire in twenty sixteen
the bumper stickers made me wonder
in favor of plowing Hillary under!
pouring gas on people torn asunder
defective memes, darkness up their greasy sleeves
cancel all reliable sources
surveil with sneaky snoopy forces
beat up refugees from horses
film you having sex with a kid, claim it’s something Bernie did

can’t be reborn until you’re ready to die
we all tend to cling to the rung
can’t always trust what comes out of the sky
but trust that your song must be sung
demons can be awfully fearsome
dwell on our fate, replay the tape
but who could love a perfect person?
demons are ingredients for angel cake
when in need you wink at the answer
open yourself to who you should be
bop-walk there like a solid gold dancer
just don’t prowl around thirsty like me
it’s easy to give stellar advice
it’s very easy to talk it

the essential aspects of your Drudge
compared to mister big’s portfolio
one is paid to dump the sludge
of the one who sails to Borneo
estranged from humanity
the Drudge works cheap
life’s a calamity
kids can’t eat
got no sway over what is made
he’s simply a robot that eats
with the board he holds no sway
complaints put him on the street
we don’t sweat the psychology
or damage of small compensation
the droning of the worker bees
created this alien nation
the self development
of a market...
