As you pass....
Auntie,
83,married 63 of those years married to the love of your life, you are leaving behind a wonderful and beautiful family of 3 kids, many grandkids and wonderful in-laws and friends as well...
Along with a timeless legacy you know nothing about, just for being you. This legacy holds more than any type of monetary gift.
You taught me to love unconditionally and always forgive
Family, faith, friends, frolic....The 4 effs in life. Besides the eff bombs we all toss around. You never did. I
You will never know how much youve mean/meant to me...

Anonymously Giving
I wasnt born with a silver spoon
the only silver I can remember was the tinsel on our tree
at least we had a tree
There werent toys nor gifts
but somehow, that was ok
we had each other
I remember getting a box on our porch as a kid
it had socks, gloves, fruit and dinner items
not toys
I was young and we didnt know any better
and me and my siblings always looked for that box
that box was special...
At least to us is was
and every year we prayed that whoever donated to fill this box for us ...

I am just a woman.....
I am just a woman, trying to make it to the end
I am full of hope and love
Yet I am fearful and terrified
I am lots of things I see everyday
when I look in the mirror
I am a mother
a lover
a giver
a listener
a wife
a homemaker
a big time talker
a nurturer
a smoker
a drinker
a dancer
a bank
a taxi
a chef
a boss
a lady
a hard worker
a music lover
a slave to myself
One day itll all be over and I can say I lived my life to the fullest every long yet...

Shadow Love
Its deep within this dark creature
that I find beauty
Shes always moving about
gracefully yet swiftly
not a care in her world
She is my hero
This dark being holds those close to her
never letting go
she is humble and asks for nothing
if you are lucky to catch this whisper silent creature

Vik~Queens.....(Viking men in delirium)
Behind every powerful King,
stands an ever more powerful Queen
That bond, never to be broken
She is his only path
to his personal destiny
to be forever in united bliss
Yet he takes her for granted
Only selling his seed for those that spread
He will soon learn
His actions are not of those within how you "father"
but within those you teach, as you act
and the mother, The Queen, that is the most important role of them all...
For without her
the children would be run crazy
and the King would...

Gut Punch
This punch is so hard
takes your breath away
Gasping for air
yet life just laughs in your face
Life punches you right in the gut
fucking hurts so bad
As tough as I am
Im begging for mercy here
I cant take it anymore
Im waving a white flag
All the stress I have taken
has been enough for 100 lifetimes
Please have mercy on me, Life
I beg of you.....
Or you can take all this bullshit
and go fuck yourself
then try to find me
and punch me some more ...

Broken images
Shattered pieces of the mirror on the ground
every piece forms a sound
of what I always wanted to be yet not
Screams of my past caused said destruction
loud from afar, then soft whispers so near
that only I only can hear
I catch a faint glance of myself
in the messy shards
these are images Id love to discard
Trying to put these scattered pieces back together
my fingers and soul blood-stained forever
I need to heal in order to see myself again...

of what I always wanted to be yet not

One Night Stand
Almost last call
No, no one saw me fall
I think I need a ride home
There he is
weve been exchanging eyes
and even a wink
Even sent each other a few drinks
names on napkins received
Now its time to go
Lets go
I think I can walk
Luckily I can still talk
My place or yours
Neither of us will remember
or you gonna fly solo?
He holds open the door
I guess were both gonna score
I have protection, in all forms
We clumsily get it done
neither of has really won ...

22 YEARS LATER.....9/11/2001
It never gets easier
this catastrophic day, nor the night before 9/11/2001, 22 years later
especially as I still, after 22 years, say goodbye, babe I love you, return to me to my own firefighter/ medical 1st responder
hes been there 24 years ...
May we all reflect and appreciate our lives on this night
and remember every single person affected by this tragedy everyone....
Hug your families
tell your people you love them
tomorrow could be very different than what we are used to....
