Play Me My Love
You played my body like a
bow across the strings on a
antique Stradivari with
fingers lightly placed and timed
while your mouth hummed in
perfect harmony creating
pitch perfect tone and
the most beautiful melody
ever heard
You played my heart
serenading me sweetly
as notes danced, lulling
me into sweet surrender
You played my mind
imprinting you there
I can think
of nothing but you
day dreaming as I wafted
on pillows of soft
downy clouds

we are the opposites that attract
letting the best in each shine
I am ubiquitous like the sand
folding around you as a cushion
against the waves of power
you are the stone sturdy in substance
through strength you carry
the world on your own
but I am the sand that softly

Satisfaction
how does one decipher
burning passion that transpires
from heated stares
to bodies bared
hands like claws
rip and tear, there are no laws
mouths in heated rush
deepening every push
till sweat does drip, slowly and thick
sounds of rapture
our passion captured
never to untwine
till words “you are mine”
thrusting and moaning
ecstasy unfolding
peaks of pleasure mound
satisfaction has been found

Natures Garden
Someday when I’m gone from the beauty of this planet earth, when I can no longer walk the trails of tall pines or see the bark on the birch as it hangs like paper from its old trunk, someone will remember I walked here, someone will read the carved initials in the majestic oaks and wonder who they belonged to.
Someday the planted day lilies of orange and yellow will bring a smile to their faces as they do mine, and the bluebeard shrubs with their airy clusters of blue blooms will catch their eyes in late summer, as butterflies dance among bushes of lavender, pink and white.

all fragile memories
my childhood spent
from make believe castles
evil queens causing stress
to handsome young princes
a princess he must kiss

the roads an empty place
to be at night

on the radio

Soldiers
pay a price for freedom
they pay it everyday
men and women soldiers
who fight to pave the way
they leave their lives and family
and put themselves at risk
at never coming home
to families that they miss
so salute a soldier when you see one
and thank him for his worth
his life he gives for our freedom
it’s not a right or a human perk
but one that’s fought for everyday
somewhere in the world
they pay it everyday
men and women soldiers
