To Dad Called 'Heavy' (R.I.P)
Daddy's girl, Daddy's girl, where did you go?
Grew up so fast, you just couldn't keep track.
Lost myself, when I thought I would grow,
You know I'll always pick up the other kids slack.
Daddy, I'm sorry if I ever made you feel sad and blue,
As I look back on the years, I wonder where the flew.
I love you more than any words can ever express,
I am sorry that I caused this bullshit of a mess.
Never doubt that I am so very proud to be your daughter,
Like the time you taught me to swim, just threw me in the water.

Constantly wishing you were here to hold my hand,
Peacefully, as we walk along the beach in the sand.
