Life as we know it
Guns on the streets
Blood in the road
Hate in the heart
Kids being killed
Son
Brother
Father
Lover
Man with a gun
Man on the run
Why’d you have to shoot him?
Why spit on him?
Why throw him in a trash can
As if he wasn’t someone people loved
Someone I loved…
Why kill him at all
He was innocent
He just wanted out
But you couldn’t give him that
Your weak like an ant on the ground just walking around trying to find food I hope someone steps on you

When summer began you weren't on my mind
when summer began you weren't a piece of me
when summer began i didn't know how much you would mean to me
now i lie here
with you on my mind

with you having damn near all of me
now i lie here
wishing you didn't mean so much to me
because when i lose this love that you give me
i will be devastated

hopeless

married woman
married woman sleeps with a man who isn't her husband but she doesn't just sleep with him she has a whole relationship with him and falls in love with him. so now they aren't just sleeping together they are now making love to each other every night but does her husband know? no he doesn't why? because she knows it wrong she goes 4 months with him and they finally get to the fight. the fight she has been dying to not have. the fight about the fact she is still married but yet go to bed and wake up next to this man that isn't her husband. now she feels lost taken for granted like her father...

See when I first met you I called you a thief in the night just playing around trying to get under your skin see where your head was at you laughed and we laughed and went on. Little did I know you we're going to steal a little piece of my heart and dissapar in the night. One by one
They line up
She doesn't say no
She says nothing at all
So that must mean yes?
As she lays there
They touch her
Over and over again
She just goes along
As if she is a prostitute
Man after man
Night after night
Day after day
Dress after dress
outfit after outfit
When does it actually stop
Stop for her
Or at least pause
Maybe slow down?
No it won't
Because life is life

why wont you tell me?" He screams
"im sorry" she whispers as she cowers in the corner
She has depression and wont tell him what's wrong
He yells and asks her how doesn't she know what's wrong with her
Depression is hard to understand
She just gets sad for no reason no trigger no nothing
Simple act of sadness
He yells "why wont u tell me?"
She finally yells back "because maybe you're gonna be the one to save me!"
