TELL ME
Tell me what your heart holds
And let me know my portion in folds
Let thy smile never go asleep
For i have a century more wakes to keep
Tell me what means your wink
Which keeps me astare without a blink
Look at me one more time
Keep me a day more alive and fine
Tell me how your love works
Explain how it makes me weak without words
Happy in rest may my soul lay
A solemn tribute you owe to pay

QUEEN OF THE NIGHT
It was noon tide in harmatan;
And in the very middle of the night.
Oh the sweet hidden galaxy;
Shone in blur colors
As light from the brighter, cold Moon hit them.
The planets, made slaves of the skies,
And the Moon is Queen of the night.
And oh how beautiful it looks,
Her beam on the gentle waters.
I gazed a while
On her cold smile;
Too cold, too cold for me.
There came hovering over me,
A white shinny cloud.
And I turned away to you;
Proud Moon, Queen of the night,
In your glory afar,
And dearer your beam shall be...

A Dusk Ride
I cannot help but pause
To stare at the setting sun.
Shadows widening,
merging up creating images
That sometimes i fear only i can see.
As i get over the magic moment,
I take a smile and walk on
This i do every evening;
An activity i do with relish.
I don't only get to release stress,
But also get to do what i love most, observing.
As i crawl on, i look deep into my envronment ;
Man and plants alike.
Nothing gives me joy than
The shock i receive each time i notice something i missed before.

Mind Made Champion
"I have seen all these before;
Plenty hate and little love.
The weak lad they calle me.
The greatest fighter who ever lived was once defeated;
And guess what, he lost to a kid
The love motivates but
The hate makes wild.
Yeah no doubt the race is for the swiftest;
Keeping the same speed till the end gets you the gold;
I gained the aplauds more cos i finished with one leg tied to my tigh.
My champion lives in my head
Untill i gain fit to fight;
I still call myself the
Silent Winner".

The Two Of Us
When I grow old and wrinkle so,
You are the one I will still want and you know.
As I go bald and my hair goes gray,
Just see me as I was yesterday.
My white shirt blowing in the breeze,
we looked and loved each other with ease.
Now in the beach sand your hand I hold,
Your warm skin scared away the cold.
We nodded to the melodies of the birds,
We spoke in silence and no one heard.
When I think of times passed by,
when we both shared smile and we both sigh.
Remembering our first glance,
and for hours how we danced.

The Hard Part
There is no cure for this.
We seek but a comfortable
maintenance.
The hard part has yet to come.
Treatments cruel and mean
Sickening beyond belief.
Quality of life is the key.
The hard part has yet to come.
Young in years
A child’s face reflected in the mirror
But held within it lies
Wisdom of the most aged mind
Which takes the pain of a very evil kind.

Dark and sunken eyes looking out
On things we can no longer touch.
Playgrounds now lie beyond our means

Thats the reason am stuck to u like glue
And i promise never to break any rule
Not even when i grow horns like a bull
I beat them all,yes i beat the queue
I will die for u like Romeo yes its true
I will flatter u and u will bloat like a balloon
I will make u feel happy like u are watching cartoon
And i will trust u like a business tycoon
And when u have no idea i will give u a clue
And i pray one day we will get through
And your face will be on ma chest like a tattoo
...

NIGHT IN AN AFRICAN VILLAGE
The night has fallen
Darkness is in
The moon has appeard
The village is bright and clear
Young village boys are druming
Strong village men are clapping to the sound of the drum
All village women and girls are singing
The chief and his family are watching the children display
There are shouts and fire crackles everywhere....
