Emotional Tourette’s
I blame you,
Come here, let me whisper softly in your ear
You have plagued me with this disease
Allow me to confess all that i feel
Suffering from Emotional Tourette’s
Permit me to submit to your whims
I guess this is what it feels like
Come here, caress my back
I have ADD
Fully saturated with devotion
Scattered thoughts
I’m unfocused
Fill me to the brim
Or overflow if you like…
Spewing random feelings
I want to give you a life
I am feigning for you
Give birth to a piece of you and i
In physical pain...

My body wants to play

My Deguise
Ima jus...
Fall back into a space of my own
Where I know the dangers of the streets, I roam
Fall back to where my thoughts can just flow
Where I am the creator of everything
I am the goddess of my tomorrow’s
Fall back into me
Long before you came along with
all this chaos and disharmony
back to when I had no expectations
from lesser beings
Retreat into that space where I reigned supreme
when it was all about me
No worries Luv...
I know how to get back to me
back into me I dive
Opening my eyes...
Fall back into a space of my own

Death Certificate
Want to get my point across
cause to some people the concept of
grief
has been lost…
monetary compensation is what they desire
thinking cashing a fat check
will make their hearts lighter
they want to cause confusion amongst family and friends
because you think you need a certificate to collect his VA and SSI benefits?
Asking for cars, computers, cameras, scripts, awards long boards and surfboards…
not once asking me how I am doing
what’s going on in my world
which is probably a good thing
cause id let them have it
tell...

walk in my shoes
I want you to
walk in my shoes just for a day
just so you can understand
that everything you have ever wanted...
is easily snatched away
that sense of security you stand behind
can leave you devastated...
have you following the blind in the heartbreak parade
things you have never imagined...
desires and wants all fulfilled.
happily ever after is attainable
it sits just over that hill.
you stay focused on your goal
leave your insecurities behind
dive in headfirst figuring
this...

Hey I get it
I can see where you are coming from
Cause, although some may not, I agree
I am a hardcore pragmatist above all
No actual promises were broken!
(At least not to me)
And with all my vents and rants
I should have done MY diligence
As I stand on a pedestal
Wondering,
Who what when why and where?
Always looking for a lesson
In my trials through life
I am continuously searching for the
Meaning, behind my choices
Eager to learn more about my hu(e)man experiences
Quick to want to...

I’m bringing back
WORD IS BOND
What you say defines who you are, at least to me
I was taught
Say what you mean, and mean what you say
It’s a promise that what I am saying to you bonds us
It used to mean
I am telling you the absolute truth *circa 1980*
That was when men took pride in the words they spoke
Men like my father, who isn’t perfect
But if he says it!!!
His Word is as good as gold

Was to any and everyone
He didn’t make promises, he knew he
Couldn’t

I remember when poetry was my life

Their love and loss
It used to be about

About how trust was earned

Deceit and lies
Took that all away
I remember when poets challenged each other
Oh the games we use to play we had

I think I need to stay away from you,
and your penis
I can’t handle the
”Condensation”
as you say,
I am afraid of the
“Humidity”
You and I create
Here’s the truth
I honestly can’t stomach
The bubbling in my pit anymore,
Whenever I say your name
The bile is always floating to the top
While listening to your lies and bullshit

I knew we should have just stayed friends
Should kept you on the side…
Now look at you
Thinking you can be the top dog
