My mind and body are changing to fit who I really am inside.

Wether they disagree with it or opt to take my side.

My inner self is emerging far from within.

It may finally be time to remove this old sheep's skin.

But as this unfamiliar transition happens before my very eyes,

I can't help but pray to God that this doesn't cut our ties..

Why can't I just move on?

Why do I recall everything at the moment I feel better?

Why do you penetrate my mind when I have my guard up?

Why do you appear in my dreams when I know I'm not in yours?

Why does this feel worse than anything I felt before?

Please why can't I just move on?

I found an extraordinary beauty in the dark.

A cool foggy night in a moonlit park.

The abyss in the water that we have yet to explore.

The jet black feeling I get in my very core.

But when I show my love for the dark and everything that is related to it ,

People are quick to brand me and label me a misfit.
