POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
This Must Be Insanity
This must be insanity
Inside of my chest
The bitter decadent meat[font=Georgia]
of this empty pit still aches
A deep seeded pain remains
where this hole has formed
Now covered with dying flesh
Ripped and torn
like a scar
This
I think this is where my heart used to be
where it maybe once pumped color because
It hurts
Every time I hear your name
Just the other day
rummaging through lost articles
old and crinkled
Love letters
from back in the day
Back when you still
used your real name
Just...

My Love
There are a few things that i want you to know. You are the equivelance of everything I have ever dreamed of or prayed for.
The first time I met you my stomach was lifted into my stomach by one million butterflies, and i almost lost my shit. I cant seem to find the right words. All of the ones that I come up with seem insufficient. They never measure up to my true feelings. They come no where close to explaining my passion for you in its entirety.
I want to get lost with you some late night,

Sour Apple Trees
Those brightly colored buzzing stinging bees,
lick their sticky tongues
up sour apple trees.
There once was a time,
when the human race
had respect for much more then its own pride.
Elephant tusks were not
sold on the black market,
and seals were not hunted just for sport.
We were more studiously in tune with our surroundings.
And now
you cant find two seconds.
To look up at the sky,
or breathe in fresh air
Feel more alive then you've been in ten years.
Your just like them,
No soul.
Hungry and selfish....
lick their sticky tongues
up sour apple trees.
