Cancer
This
Crushing
Piercing
Weight
of you
Now breaks
and tears at my spine
This lack of breath
in my lungs
provided by you
just digs away at my lies
Why must this tearing
Break us inside
The way we never
wanted to be
Engraved in my chest
Like a cancer
We will never
be able to treat
We pray
We hold on
We fight to the bone
We grasp for air
Like we are drowning
We do what we must
Just to float along
But the thread holding us
together is tearing

Nerves
Nothing compares to your hands,
nothing like the green-gold of your eyes.
My body is filled with you for days and days.
You are the mirror of the night.
The violent flash of lightning.
The dampness of the earth.
The hollow of your armpits is my shelter.
My fingers touch your blood.
All my joy is to feel life spring from your flower-fountain
That mine keeps to fill all the paths of my nerves
which are yours.
nothing like the green-gold of your eyes.
My body is filled with you for days and days.
You are the mirror of the night.

You Are The Sun
I yearn to hear this song of yours
the one you wrote in your dreams
Where you are true and free
no longer held down by your forgotten dreams
I yearn to live in the mystery that is your eyes
where we swim in the lake that you have drawn in your mind
where we are no longer bonded by the misery of time
and we do what we want forever
I long to get lost in the presence of your soul
where I am free from the chains of obsession
where we dance to that song by coldplay under the trees
and we smile like we have never seen pain ...

Time Passes
Looking at you
Ripples of sadness climb up my back
like angry worms digging their way to the surface of their tin cup
not because looking at you makes me angry
but because I should be that girl standing next to you
the one with her hair up in ribbons wearing that fake smile
like she could ever understand you the way I did.
The way I still do.
Even though years have passed and you are no longer the you I once knew

I Walk
I walk.
Scattered thoughts,
write shattered words.
Drizzle them like glass
in a hallway.
Walk to me.
I promise it hurts,
but you will see what it's like.
To take my way.
I teleport from picture frames,
to colors.
shots,
and scenes.
Typography.
Words and pictures.
Stapled together.
Chaos composes a lot of me.
Scattered light,
and broken prisms.
Through my eyes,
of shattered vision.
Drizzle through weary thoughts,
walk the path on which i walk.
Saying nothing,
silence heavy....
Scattered thoughts,

Walk On
I find myself walking down this empty path
Alone in this mess
The blackness consumes my every breathe
And you used to stand beside me
In this journey that was ours
But you turned away
And I can't honestly say
That I blame you
One can only stand so much cold.
But when I close my eyes
I can still feel
The warmth of your hand in mine
And I must hold on to this thought
Its the only strength I have
To walk on.
Alone in this mess
The blackness consumes my every breathe

Poison
Stuck in a deepness,
like the bottom of a ship.
Doors locked and bolted,
and were sinking quick.
You do what you can to dig out of this mess,
but soon powerless you are lost to the abyss.
Lost in black,
not even an explosion can shatter this glass.
You try to think,
how did I get here?
It was you that held my hand.
I had trust for you somewhere,
but you led me down these stairs.
With each step,
forgetting who I am.

Stuck in the bellows of this ship.
Floating down stream in this current.
Voices whispering in my ears.
Just relax and enjoy it.
The scenery?
Yes.
The blandness of this dying land.
Drowning now in the vacancy.
Your empty eyes enticing me,
as I watch you struggle.
Think you can drink away your troubles?
Pry that lie from your mouth.
Say you love me.
Come on,
force those words out.
Aching knuckles throbbing and bruised
Drink away those mistakes that...

Secret Like A Mist
A secret like a mist.
Spreads its poison,
through your chest.
Holding you.
Moving you
Keeping you.
Sick.
A sickness.
You have carried,
deep inside your soul.
Twisting,
and carving
and turning you cold.
A heart you once had,
just a memory now.
As fog rises up,
you turn back around.
You delve into your past,
where there is nothing left.
That is remotely close,
to solid ground.
Just a smoke that disintegrates.
With stale hope,
left over from long ago.
Where you search,...

Moaning Like Mother Earth
Shoes thrown
half way down the hall
we start at the top
where this began
Take it all off
Perfectly sewn
Just like a doll
Passion explodes
In each breathe
of your breathing
Digging your nails
deeper into me
and you are in it now
Even thought maybe
you were never leaving
Only ever wanting to please me
leave your mark this time
Only you could call me daddy
You know I love it when you do
So I will be prepared
when the light turns down
and all the sound blurs out
I won't forget what you do ...

A handful of things you once touched
encompass me in this ash and dust
broken down here in this place
that brings me back to us
