simply childish
terrorism
freaks with guns
running rampant
in cities and towns
and neighborhoods
breaking peace
instead of Bread
bringing chaos
and blood
don't they know?
the Blood has already been let!
the scourge has flown
and all are saved!
we are saved
and love our brothers
we do not kill
those who unbelieve
we love them
and share the Love
until they see
islam
where is your gentle
when adherents plot?

my world has smalled
quiet shrank
into a behemoth
of self silence
resounding with
unending questions
and a gone love
so memory pure
the touch of outside life
would immediate
its demise
but i think it's better
for all of us
this way
i will stay alone

city love
alone in the bed tonight
i remember him
once i hired a man
he came to me
adorned.
prettiness and muscles
paid.
i was a queen come to
by a man so very city crowned
he slept by me the whole paid night
it was good
he'd let me be...
let my lovely iowa tears fall upon his hair
and in the morning
i dressed and flew home
and tonight? alone?
i remember.
i remember him

his name was david
he was on duty
a strange request
by a woman and her date
could they both have his pleasure for later?
her night partner blushed at her brazen
david paused
she was pretty
and he was sexy
and no one would know
later
he knocked at their suite
out of uniform, out of sorts
but a man in need of a closeness
an away from stress
he wanted to cry with the sad of his job
he was a man needing them both
so he came to them
and they met him
each willing
and years later...

the Sword of Strength
shiny silver
heavy
weightless
it steels me for battle
but sometimes my hand
slides right through the hilt
as if it is made of foggy mist
i am unable to hold it
and although i grasp and grasp
all is ethereal and i am unable
finally in despair and in utter prayer
i lay
wrecked upon the floor
but quietly sudden! it is in my hand!

God so loved the world

people in my town
hurt others with words
with shoulders cold and glances
tonight in my town
people throw word stones
do mobs with bottles and clubs come next?
will the word-hurlers visit me in my home?
coming with bibles in their virgin hands
and tears on their cheeks for my soul
before they come with violence for me and my friends?
do you bring the Good News?
or do you drag the old testament into today?
God knows i can't help it
i shouldn't have to sleep alone for the rest of my life...

wi-fi is hurting
the trees
and gen-mod crops

while white bears swim
