My Angel...
Little angel is lying on Daddy's chest
she cant's sleep daddy doesn't know why
so he decides to sing
Twinkle twinkle little star
How I wonder what you are
Baby closed her eyes then smiled
two Hearts on the top of each other
created by a love called "fatherhood"
daddy can't resist this fragile beauty
so he gently kisses
his baby's head
one hair went into his mouth
daddy gives another kiss
To move it away
He keeps checking on her
I hope she is breathing he said
his hand is covering the little body
with the same...

21 of June your birthday
Between the 14th of March and the 21st of June
The 14th of March is Mother's day
that day when you were
taken from us
that day when children make cards
with "I love you mum"
the little ones will scribble something
just for mummy
Abdul bought a splendid bouquet
It's for you mum
he took me to visit our mimo (karim)
together we hugged the stones this time
it's mother day, said Abul, here we are
karim can't make fun of his mum's hair
and her accent
at the same time I was wondering
How my son's killer is...

My home, my heart
My door's house was never properly locked
Abdul would come back again he needs
some another piece of cake for Hussein
Our friend....our neighbour
My husband is just outside
he is fixing Karim's friend's moped
another friend a neighbour
I go quickly to Linda' house
I give her a massage, she hurts her back
My old neighbour, my friend
later a young lady comes from the hospital
she has a baby boy
I hug her I give her the present
I make her some couscous
karim is back he wants to swap
one of his hat with his friend...
Abdul would come back again he needs

Killers must go free from court
As judges need to buy their own islands
There, they can't hear the victims' mothers' screams
On their private boat
They can hug their own kids
And enjoy the sunshine
They can celebrate their victories
Made by a mixture of lies and power
"All done" they will say and
That foreigner mum
Must be lucky to be
Part of a kingdom where she
Is allowed
To visit and cry for her beloved one
Left alone in that dark hole
But she must remember to keep quiet
When she faces her child's killer
Who is...

Injustice, bullies and sadness
Have chosen my home for a refuge
Love and kindness were the walls
Only prayers can bring peace back

your bath
The first bath
Grandma was collecting flowers
from every where in town
Then put them to dry
Traditions
At the same time she was spreading the word
"My grand son is on his way
Our man is coming soon"
She had a dream about you
That dream where she saw a boy
With dark skin playing around
The ceremony has started
Grandma put the dry flower petals in a big basin
Then she poured some warm water followed
By the ritual songs and prayers
She puts you in the middle
I check the water again so many times
Not too cold not too...

big silly man
Poor little puppet
Big man will choose you
Because you look different
From the other puppets
You're funny, you're intelligent
You want to please big man
So big man will give you a task
To test you
You will accept it you silly puppet
He then gives you a harder task
But you refuse
Your kindness and conscience
Will stop you
But that big man knows a big man
They will decide for you to go
And never come back
RIP little puppet
Big man will choose you

confused
I get ready to visit you
I'm confused, I don't know what to wear
my long purple dress is too tight
you like that dress, but I have put weight on
you make fun of that
I try to look nice, so you get respect
as you have always said
If only you can see me again
If only you could know how much I miss you
I'm not going on a diet
What's the point now
I wear my old black trousers
The ones with deep pockets
I'm confused, I don't know what to wear

I prefer the silence of this darkness
I walk tiptoe

A child
Who said that a mother is a grown up
She plays like a child
She loves like a child
She is a selfish like a child
She builds her own love nest
Around her child
She wraps him in her proper way
