I see angry hippopotami
who cheat on their taxes dancing the
Haka oblivious to their neighbors
early morning wake up calls.
It is after 2 am and hippo’s don’t
like to be told when to stop
stomping and chanting.
Not unusual.  These visions.
The hippo’s are new tonight.

Not often but often enough
to worry be concerned
enjoy even a little
these strange happenings
images
voices.
Nothing too outrageous.
Not yet.
