Globe Trotter
I'd trot the globe in just a couple strides
One two three four five
And kick a ball around a crime
Of a freckled lass confessing lies.
Learning our geography
Never came to me so easy
As navigation just by jogging,
As effortless it'd ought to be.
But the fear was thinking if I jumped
I'd float off into space.
So I never dared to raise one leg
Without the other firmly placed.

The Dream Catcher
Ragged coat, rugged throat,
With coarsely groans, a haggard bloke had spoke,
"Black birds black birds,
"I hunger at this evening.
“Come hither from your nests and stay,
“So I may steal a meal to feed me.”
Despite his calls no bird would peek,
For who’d respond to those who speak
Of eating those of which it seeks,
But the haggard man, he doth repeat,
"Black birds black birds,

I've got mad flow
I can dig it.
Throw me line and I'll chew it and spit it.
I'm limited only by how wicked I kick it,
and if I'm feeling it,
I'll tie you up to some bricks
Drop you off of a bridge into the frigid abyss
And just for shits, I'll take a piss and a picture
Of me flipping the bird while I'm whipping my Richard.
You can have as many eyes as you need
But you're still too jaded to see
This time around you're barking the wrong tree.
Hey maybe while you're down drowning undersea
You'll rediscover...

Exceeds a further furling feel

Ouh Ladies and gentleman gather on 'round
For the amazing commoner has staggered to town.
In a drunken haze he clobbered a governor dead to the ground
And now detained, we summon the chancellors around
To commiserate his blunder and make rabbling sounds,

Have you ever had thoughts?
Especially the sort you forgot?
Well not this kid, his head is a box!
Have ideas to contain
Or need things put away?
Rest assure that no contents are ever too strange!
From humdrum and drole, those taxes and forms
Or a collection of stones from corundum to gold.
Stacks of old records, vintage porcelain plates,
And the Oriental China you've forgot to donate.
You remember the letters you got as a youth
By a special admirer feting affection and couth?
Well what better...

Petit Giro, fearless hero
By evening he's combatting foes.
Very serious, not a zero
He knows the streets of Tokyo.
In bed by eight and out by nine
He's never late to fighting crime.
"No dog no, you can't pee there!"
Another street bush has been spared.
Hurry, help hose drunk pedestrians
That are stumbling onto busy intersections.
"You're the man! Way to go!"
A true hero whom we'd like to know.

Shiver
In an inn, in a woods, in a European past
Lived a killer of a lady and a floosy of a lass.
Her space was well and ways away from any form of settlement.
No towns nearby, but quite established, in clearing for a residence.
It was far along a trail from where the peddlers hailed their shipments,
And often stopped on in to have some comfort from the missus.
She'd bring them ale and on the side, a serving of her classic pies, ...

Bound and blinded in the cold,
With rope burns on my wrists.
I wore concrete boots around the soles,
As sweat dripped down my fists.
As I contemplated, the fog was rolling
On this early Tuesday morning.
A three piece asked my last request
"I'll just have a cigarette."
It was a selfish comfort I could savor,
Though not a smoker, I thought I'd try,
And with every hit the coldness wavered
To a pale reflection in my...
