The Seed
The seed falls from a tree
A pod blowing over the sea
It comes to rest on the ground
Buried deep in the hole it found
The roots begin setting in
Breaking through the soil it begins
Reaching each day to the sky
Time passes as others fall and die
Alone it stands in an empty field
No one around to spread its yield
Its branches reach out to nothing
Hopes of finding anything or something
The limbs old, wilted and falling down
The weeds have been dying all around
Swaying in the wind cracking, popping
Snapping midway to the...

Untitled
Letters on a screen,
A voice unseen.
Final act of despair,
Depression fills the air.
Hundred E-mails sent,
Hundred IM's went.
"Don't leave" is spoken,
No response is given.
The screen goes white,
No one knows the fright.
Are they thinking?
Or is their corpse reeking.
One caring word given,
Things could be unwritten.
Compassion deserving,
But now unnerving.
Body found decomposing,
Bugs brushed off exposing.
Letter to my maker,
"Take me to God's Acre"

The Hole Inside
Her voice cuts like a razor
Cutting painlessly along my jugular
Her words deafen my thoughts
Gentle warm hands cradle my ears
Her humor mends the soul
Smiles grow from deep within
Her love knows no boundary
How could I let this slip
My words never came
My heart left empty
My soul remains alone
Part of me is gone never to return
Love is all I want, it's all I yearn

Eternal Heart
The folding of my insides
The pain of swallowing
The heavy slow heartbeat
The disappearing image of you
The vocabulary cannot fix
My words trapped inside
My thoughts deafening me
My emotions flooding my soul
My hands tremble in want
My lips quiver trying to speak
I watch as I dissipate from you
I slip under my eternal rock
I fight wars with my mind
I was doomed from the start

Title Still To Be Determined
The passing bodies look down at him
Their gaze so dark and grim,
Holding his weathered hands palms up
Waiting for the coins to rattle his cup,
The ocassional rattle is heard
Lifting his head "thanks" his one spoken word,
Looking to the ground in shame
Others pass as though he is playing a game,
A soft voice pierces into his ear
"Hey Mister? may I sit here?",
With a look of shame he looks to move
Not making eye contact he scoots,
"No" Speaks this soft thundering voice
"Tell me, are you here by choice? ",

The Tree Of Life
The grass feels coarse at my feet
The bark of the tree scrapes my knees
My nails dig in collecting sap beneeth them
I reach a thick steady leafy branch
Crawling out along it sitting midway
The stiff rope drapes nicely over the branch
Looking out as I rest atop it
Thoughts begin collecting and tears fall
One snug pull and the rope becomes tight
A quick look to the dark night sky
The rope collaring my neck
A final deep breath exhaling an apology
Down I fall to a quick sudden stop
A breath can not be conjured up

Shes So Cruel
I cherrished every bit of her
I welcomed each thought of her
I cried when she cried
I laughed when she laughed
I gave her my heart and soul
I told her I loved her
I told her I would never leave
She said she adored me
She said she loved me
She told me everything was ok
She shared so much with me
She started getting quiet
She kept forgetting things
She split my heart in two
I kept trying to get close
I did all I could do
I poured my soul into her
I didnt know what else to do
I cried myself to sleep

When I think of your touch against my skin
My knees weaken beneth me
When I think of you and your beauty
My mind has no words for it
When I think of your sweet voice
My ears are at total peace
When I think of your warm caress
My body feels protected

The Invisible
Will they ever notice
the water is cold
Will they ever care
the blade glistens
Will I ever be missed
the pills are dry
Will I ever be remembered
the thoughts are slipping
Will I ever be known
the slippery blade splits
Will my journey be quick
the skin begins to part
Will it all be over soon
the water is now crimson
Will my life be enough
the cold water is warming
Will my eyes just close
the crimson water consumes

The End
this life that I lead is causing me to bleed
what must I do I am begging and pleading
no matter what I do I cant stop the bleeding
my life is upside down
I lay in a pool of blood apun the ground
what must I do to turn it around
Im growing weaker as the blood continues
why is it so hard dealing with these issues
I cry tears of blood even when smiling
as my lifes blood keeps pumping
I constantly become weaker as the last drops near
it not much longer now before the end,
the end I forever fear
