Before The Day Begins
your fingers scratch my back
as i hold you in my arms
sweet luscious kisses
from head to toe
the warmth of my breath
on the nape of your neck
arousing my manhood
soft skin my sexy canvas
dance for me my angel
a seductive striptease
revealing your assets
how i wanna feel you
taste you on my tongue
please every inch of your body
our eyes meet, so close now
ready to embrace you deeply
the alarm goes off
forcing my eyes open
the despair of morning
awakening from a dream
once the room’s in focus
i see you...

True Beauty
a full moon rising
magical in it’s allure
soothing winds
bring forth the rain
cascading droplets
gathering in
the green fabric
of a leaf belly
this liquid life
harmony so tranquil
feeding the spirit
of simple creatures
balancing cycles
resting in
her tender bosom
lies true beauty

Supernova
mystic overtones surround
this humble retreat
along the mountainside
a hidden gate
some have survived
bathing in ancient oils
others solidify myths
speaking words never heard
no allegiance found
none needed
for the stars are infinite
as are the possibilities
one solitary promise
of simple dreams
in the great beyond
my own supernova

art is a spectacle
to be enjoyed
shared with the natives
or maybe in your hometown
thinking and pondering
what’s with the hiatus?
testing the waters
waiving the white flag
don’t call it a comeback
overdue, ice in my glass
letting the words flow
it’s what’s expected
the master of ceremonies
wanting to party again
anything is possible
special delivery, see you soon
to be enjoyed

The Fabric Of My Being (My Final Write)
saying goodbye is never easy
reflect and view in retrospect
brothers and sisters so close
we’re puzzles missing pieces
don’t think of sadness
forget about being perfect
none of us are that
holding out my hand for you
just because this is the end
the final submission here
doesn’t mean it wasn’t real
my heart is full now
i gave everything i had
i’m not the best writer
some of you made me grow
but i’m not the be all end all
Nick, the young blood
Natalie, my adopted daughter
Brenda, my truest friend
