dear mom
do you think about me?
do you think about the last time you held me?
you carried me for nine months
but how long did you really hold me?
was it too hard to make space in life?
you had too much going on to take care of a baby right?

especially if I was unplanned
I don't see how you could let go though
you don't owe me anything
if you weren't boned I wouldn't be here you think

when I was born my mother didn't want me
ten minutes later the hospital bed was empty
I got adopted
and turned into a possession
the worst part for me is the unanswered questions
what's my dad look like?
do I have siblings ?
what about my mother?
you share my blood, you share my makeup
I lived inside of you yet I have no idea about you
you must be sneaky to have hidden from your dad little old me
for nine months

its the superbowl
another excuse to lose control
think ill pack myself a massive bowl
start to gorge like a rabid animal
if im still me by the time we get to the halftime show
consider yourself lucky there's some others here you wouldn't like to know

beer and other things
from zero to fucked up without stopping in between
get out of my way, id flip over a beauty queen
if you told me id find something better underneath

a lifestyle of no regrets
you took the plunge you lost the bet
now you wonder what comes next
can you handle this can you pass the test
a life of lies played to the chest

by a doctor who's now my friend for life
My bills alone paid for the tits on his wife

it's a good thing I don't want my memories back
