Kissing Brambles
Along a lonely path there is a well--
A well which has been long forgotten
At the edge of the forest on a hill
Where the brambles grow
And the faeries of the court
Come from the meadows to cavort
Enchanting bairns from their beds
Dawning brides with crowns of Fiddleheads
It is here–
Where the ancient ones create feasts
With delectable berries and creams
It is here–
Where the ancient ones create streams
Of everlasting dreams
It is here–
Where the ancient ones transcend time
At the sound of a wistful chime ...

Inner Tempest
The turmoil in my bosom is like the Tempests’ shrill cry!
Oh wondrous of wonders–
Please excuse my blunders,
For my heart yearns to die
Under the roaring thunders.
With a glass of Sauternes,
I roam through the golden halls of Versailles,
Escaping the shadows in the hall of mirrors–
As the voices whisper, “Goodbye.”
Through the windows I see the storm–
Oh how she gracefully greets me with her form!
Oh wondrous of wonders,
Please excuse my blunders,
Carry me to the sky,
For my heart yearns to die.

Autumn Spell
In the cloak of autumn,
A silhouette adorned in gold
Bound to no one
Bows to the old ones
Saying,
"I think we've met".
She glides among the willows
Whose branches are marionettes
Whispering tales of
Royal daughters and sons.
The rivers are silent and still
Like the checkered daffodil,
Waiting for the wintertide to subside,
Making way for the nymphs of spring
To upswing with laughter and pride,
Giving life.
Warily she tiptoes
Down the crossroads
That no one knows,
Leaving golden leaves behind.

Ah--but what is this!
This unfamiliar sound,
Coming down from the sky,
Reflecting the fears I told dear
In my cranium.
So tight--
My chest feels so tight.
Ah--but what is this!
Feeling the grains of sounds

I was born in the wood--
The wood between worlds,
The wood created by poets
Who loved their muses.
I walk the path of silence--
The path that leads no where,
The path created by poets
Who dwelt in their madness.
I speak in tongues with the beasts--
The beasts who raised me,
The beasts created by poets
Who gathered with druids.
As I cry stale tears, a cold wind blows,
The tress move to and fro--
