Looking forward to read "Songs of innocence and of experience" (William Blake) here :-)

Wondering why
Wondering why
all those
happy obese people
were inclined to sit

Youth
You are
like
trees growing side by side
reaching out for the sun
always competing
but
when things are getting tight
I see
two brothers in arms
like
trees growing side by side
reaching out for the sun
always competing
but
when things are getting tight
I see
two brothers in arms

Random walk
Our earthly steps
though chosen carefully
too often
resemble
a drunkard's walk
but
those
willing to accept
will find consolation
in the idea
that
with certainty
we'll return to the origin
though chosen carefully
too often
resemble
a drunkard's walk
but
those
willing to accept
will find consolation
in the idea
that
with certainty
we'll return to the origin

Honeymoon
He said "Unconditional..."
She added "...love"
He replied "...surrender"
She smiled "Where's the difference?"

we strive after
certainty,

Paris - mourning after...
While tossed but not sunk
be a lighthouse to the world
forgive and prevail

Traces
keeping memories of
a love affair
is like
trying
to
leave
footprints
in the sand
of an hourglass

trying
to
leave
footprints
in the sand
of an hourglass

Bagels
Bagels are very much
like love affairs
much ado
about the central hole
the more you taste,
the more it becomes clear
that there's no heart in it
just solitude
though the outer ring
looks breathtaking -
sometimes sweet,
creamy,hot....
bagel lovers are twice cursed -
never to talk about
never to blame a bagel
for being what it is.
So, here's to you, my dear - the sexiest bagel alive!
like love affairs
much ado
about the central hole
the more you taste,
the more it becomes clear
that there's no heart in it
just solitude
though the outer ring
looks breathtaking -
sometimes sweet,
creamy,hot....
bagel lovers are twice cursed -
never to talk about
never to blame a bagel
for being what it is.
So, here's to you, my dear - the sexiest bagel alive!

Mourning of leaves in autumn (Thermopylae, Greece)
Go tell the people,
thou who passest by,
that here,
obeying nature's law,
we lie
(inspired by William Lisle Bowles, 1762-1850)

Happiness of butterflies
Lepidoptera show some strange behaviour -
you can feel them in your stomach
when they're in love,
with a flap of their wings
they can cause a hurricane
at the other end of the world,
but ask yourself - while sitting and thinking -
how happy can a butterfly be
that is printed on bathroom tissue?
you can feel them in your stomach
when they're in love,
with a flap of their wings
they can cause a hurricane
at the other end of the world,
but ask yourself - while sitting and thinking -
how happy can a butterfly be
that is printed on bathroom tissue?
