I want intensity.
A spike of adrenaline you'd get from hanging by your last finger on the ledge overhanging a vast, uncompromising, swirling black hole.

The Politicians
Two figures stand tall on podiums facing the masses
Large gleaming teeth inlay waxy upward pointed lips
Piercing set eyes painted over with a soft warm gaze
Skin tight with drawn wrinkles just barely masking the telling weathered marks of appropriate age
Both bodies fully costumed in trim business camouflage, differenced only in color of tie snuggled tightly against guarded jugular
Hard plastered mouths scarcely budge as slander is hissed violently through polished and filed away fangs

Just Cry
I was told to cry
Let out the emotions pent up inside of me
When I'm with her I want to cry,
I fear I'm not enough for her and that one day my love for her will turn against me
When I'm without her I want to cry,
I fear I will never see her again, kiss her lips or feel her skin
I should be happy, she is everything I've been wanting for so long,
Finally, there is someone that is capable of loving me in oceans, just as I love
But what if my love for her is shallow and that is why I want to cry?
No, I love all of her, my love for her sinks into her...

Acid Tornado
There is an acid tornado in my stomach
My blood churns and boils and flows over the jagged lava rocks just below my skin
My heart is a volcano that irrupts at 150 beats per minute straight to my brain
My brain is a lightning rod that channels each strike into my bones, coursing through to my feet
My fingertips go numb as they are electrified and bursting with lava flow
I put my hands on my head, my head between my knees, and beg the pulsing anxiety to slow
My hair is on fire now, the lightning rod smoking, determinately catching each strike from the storm cloud...

Sweet
Her lips are sweet.
Her eyes dilate as the teasing smile softens and parts to lock with mine, opening the flood gates; the long forbidden first kiss out of landlocked friendship.
Her mischievous grin and the pointed arch of one eyebrow open a rift unto worlds of passionate embraces and soft kisses on sunny Saturday afternoons.
The warmth of her fingers holding my face melt holes through the glass shield that covers my skin and my barrier liquifies, slipping into a reflective puddle on the floor.
Her hand weaves through the pink jungle of hair on my head and earthquake...

The Ocean My Love
My love was an ocean, vast and clear to see far to the ocean floor.
The first to swim was a cute otter, slightly injured from swimming against the tide.
He swam until his injuries were healed, soaking up the healing properties of my tide, and once healed he left to rest on the shore leaving me lonely but not fully alone.
The second to swim was the silver reflection of the moon. We both were amused at how his reflection danced and played in my waves and soon my love poured freely as it once had. The otter watched from the bank as excitement filled our hearts at...

Washing Machine
Laying in bed listening to the deep thud of the washing machine.
Your roommate is doing laundry.
In three months you won't have loud roommates, you'll have independence. Unhooking from college, dorm, roommate, life and locking the collar on moving in with your best friend, pain in the ass, love of your life.
Three months and you'll be clipping the leash on being depended upon by the furry child you raised with him, though up till the moving date you're more like a distant visitation mother on the weekends.
Soon you'll trade books for a full-time punch card and study...
