I tell myself I no longer care,
Why does your past haunt me?
My insecurity, lack of trust?
Self respect. Letting go of me, for you.
We cannot meet in the middle, because the road that leads to you, is completed.
Or is it??  The destination, yet a continued journey???
With the back-lash of your past, but your commitment is to me.
I ponder, I think, I no longer really care,
I want to reconnect with me,
Because I care

I return to sit, me and my computer.
Loneliness prevails and then the sound
Notes of a tune, information signal, keys in rhythm
To seek a way, an answer, reawaken starving senses
And Hope.
Passage of time, a new awareness,  
Motivation to avoid despondence
Knowing I must detach from my electronic friend,
To sit with loneliness
And Hope.....
