flowers bloom
in warm morning sun
after a night of rain

a cool breeze
fondles wind chimes
under music of birds

there was only animals and nature then
and there still is now only we have technology
and concrete walls reinforcing our realities
but back then on a beach somewhere in the east
as the sun was rising and a heard of animals ran from some predator
on some high ground a man peeled moss off a rock and ate it
he swallowed fast because it taste like shit
then used his tongue to skim his gums
and swallowed again
while starring at the ocean
 
 
his stomach rolled over itself
as waves rolled into the shore
pushing...

the short old woman works in a hotel
and looks almost like danny deveito's
portrayal of the penguin(in tim burton's batman)
which i feel a little guilty about
cause she's a pretty nice person
just talks too much

she been married twice
and both husbands died
cause they got bad livers
been over 23 years
since she had a lover
unless you consider her son and her brother
.... the three of them share an apartment together

I feel bad for her
but i got
my own problems
and easily forget
so i tell...

i know i shoulda asked
what the deal was
between us
but I didn't
and now i'm stuck
wondering
hoping
you aren't fucking
another man

my thoughts are locked onto
the lovely moments
when you laughed and smiled
the last time we talked
as we drank tea together
oh how that contrasted
the abrupt end
of a pleasant conversation
when you suddenly said
"I have to meet a friend for dinner"
