We tumble out of the darkness into brief light, and because we know there is so little time we breathe our moments into magic. We reach for something we have named beauty. We touch each other in a need we have called love. We plan and hope, we dream and dare for those flickering wonders, then go back into the darkness, not finished, still caring, still asking why, or not even being given the chance. And the mourning and the loss ball our souls into fists to strike, not at God, but at the pregnant silence where we think he hides. And that's the joke. Some ancient fool saw in a dream the true...

Emotional Suicide
You are my joy and my pain
You are my sun and my rain
I love you so much that it hurts
But when you're gone it's so much worse
I can't stand to be without you
Or stop thinking about you
You've been my friend through all the years
But losing you brought only tears
I find I cannot let you go
For in my heart love burns slow
Love burns sweet
Love burns true
And in my dreams
There's only you
You are my sun and my rain
I love you so much that it hurts
But when you're gone it's so much worse
I can't stand to be without you
Or stop thinking about you

More than a memory
I can still feel you inside of me
even though you`ve gone
the part of yourself you left
is lubrication for my restless hands
as I remember your mouth on my body
it was too much
it was not enough
it was all I`ll ever need
you know my body like your own
my soul is in your eyes
my heart is in your hands
the years meant nothing
as soon as you touched me
I was back where I`ve always been
where I never want to leave
you will always be more than a memory
even though you`ve gone

Last Night
I dreamed a dream of you last night
of lust and pain of violence and delight
of sex without boundaries
of pain beyond measure
of helplessness and longing
and a slow burning pleasure
I dreamed a dream of you last night
you crept into my room and bound me tight
you took all I had to give and more
you turned me out made me your whore
you used and abused until I was sore
but all I`ll ever want is more

Have you ever met the Boogeyman?
Yes, you have, don`t lie.
You`ve seen him in a thousandplaces,
and met him athousand times.
He has a milion faces,

He`s everywhere you`ve ever been,

shadows fall
when everything thats pure goes away with the light
and the shadows of pain that are lurking take over the night
Darkness and Atrocity: gaurding Hell`s Gate
everything that once was loved
is now a legacy of hate
the childrens laughter has turned evil
but the stars hold their ground
safe with the knowledge
that the earth will turn `round

Prayer
Now I lay me
down to sleep.
And wait for all
of the demons
to creep,
from out of the closet
and under the bed.
And all the dark corners
inside my head.
With bloody fangs
and ripping claws,
they lay me open
and expose my flaws.
Away from the light,
and away from the sun.
Trapped in a place
with nowhere to run.
All through the night,
alone with my fears.
Drowning under the
weight of my tears.
With no one to pray too.
And no soul to take.
I sleep with the demons,
until the dawn when I wake.
down to sleep.
And wait for all
of the demons
