Hand over fist, Striking incisions over a masked shade of our grief
Unconscious actions upon ourselves leaving us masked upon disbelief
Got giving a false illusion as a thought to believe we’re free
Hiding truth beyond the shade of light hoping we do not come to see
The darkness is from which we sing, shading our worth through expression of what something will bring
We no longer give or look to find connection among this place
Separation is the trap of isolation that is brung to our face
Matter is what appears to part us in this space
