I write purely to express myself. Some of them are serious writings, but most are venting or randomness. I find inspiration in events throughout my life, and through my interpretation of song lyrics, and how they affected me.

To act the fool
Against all odds
Face your fears
Be one of the gods
Look out below
Watch over your head
For you never know
Where more blood will shed
The coast is clear
To make a long story short
Walk on air
Have a last resort
In the end
These are just words
To confess to you a tale
Of when our two paths blurred

LOVE POEM

Year Long Love
Would you care if I died?
Then why do you constantly push me to suicide?
The fierce words from the blade of your tongue,
They pierce my heart and make me feel I don't belong.
Has it ever occurred to you,
That maybe I have feelings too?
The dark shroud that surrounds your heart,
It pushed me away as we fell apart.
You blame me for our terrible past,
Even though I told you that we'd never last.
Through faith and hope we continued to try,
Right up until we said our last goodbye...
Then why do you constantly push me to suicide?

I miss you
I'm trapped in a never ending cycle
Surrounding myself with pictures of you
Finally acknowledging my obsession
Wishing for our relationship to start over anew.
The crazies have come out of me
The urges to pick up my phone
The feelings of loss and despair
The feelings of being all alone.
My broken heart will never heal
And the one thing I want to show you before I go
Is the thing you've always wanted to see
My white wings in the sky; a beautiful show.
Goodbye my dear earth
I've no use of you anymore
My love has moved on...
Surrounding myself with pictures of you

The Clown
Upon your face there is no frown
And your nose, so ripe and round
Tells me you are a clown
Never have I been so scared
To prepare a face to meet the faces that you meet;
There will be time to meet my fate
For my life, to you, is like a fly and spider
Your reputation vastly preceeds you
So trying to stand is nothing new
Even when pushed to sit
I have accepted what I have in this life
So let me see your chaos and strife
Now is the time for your bug finale
You are but an owl and mouse
Or a fire in a house
To live and thrive you must...

From the Ground Up
As I gaze into your dull lifeless eyes
I can't help but smile through the tears I cry
For surely now you are in a better place
Then you were at the start of these horrid days
And even though you are so far away
Let's pretend the stars are ours for today
For when the morning comes and dawn awakes
I'll be alone with the rain's chorus on my windowpane.
But falling was never something that I grew up with
Through courage kept my head above those myths
That someday we would fade to nothing
If life was ever gracious enough to be trusting
Reminders how...

Freedom of Drawing
The freedom of Drawing makes me ecstatic.
Even when the day is quite dramatic.
Because I can be who I truly desire,
Without anyone pressuring me down to the wire.
The leeway of drawing presents me power
To illustrate a landscape or sketch a delicate flower.
My mother tells me to not take am hour or more,
So I simply shut out the world and close the door.
The rampancy of drawing calms me down
Stop the arch on my profile is never a frown.
It allows me time to ponder about myself,
So once more I can put a masterpiece upon the shelf.

My old friend
You truly mean the world to me
you cheer me up, make me feel
like nobody can stop me
You've opened up my darkness
into a new light.
I feel a strange happiness
I no longer have to fight.
You take my bruises and heal them
You make my painful scars that I can't deal with
and make them sweet memories
You are more than everything to me.
I can tell you anything. You have opened
up my tiny claustrophobic world
and made it warm and safe
You trust me and you tell mt what you went through
To be honest I go through...
