What Is There To Look At?
Reflections of me
are hard to find, nerve
endings unwind around
crystal stemware.
It felt good to rest my feet
on ice picks with mis-matched
handles. juice from day old
cherry pie stains my lips
and my teeth.
Cash due on the rental of a
two- ton floor jack painted
blue it holds the structure
I've built around my heart
built with resilience and
a pallet load of quilted velvet
and rebar.
I sat looking into pieces of
a vintage chandelier cracked
the plating worn...
are hard to find, nerve

Life Untried
Conception assumes it's
reproductive structure the
forthcoming architecture of
this life untried.
Revolutionary thoughts move
to settle energy ungratified
Descriptor does rise
I will resurrect my life
with an unclouded intention
to simply live happy
with a joyful heart, to love
and to be loved

Camino Embarcadero
Tiny demitasse cups, collected from the parlor where the
walls crumble beneath
excessive weight of memories
too heavy to carry
-for too long
Dusty shelves, a shelter
for the ones willing to linger believing, or hoping to attach themselves like a cobweb
on the coat tail of a dreamer
Old wooden rocker sways independent
of the earths rotation
A miniature setting to which
I can watch life's natural
decay an introspect into the insanity of what could be
what is, or the mere fascination
of what isn't ...

The Formation of a Concept
What is my cognitive
content for today ?
To see the beauty of a hummingbird in flight?
Or to bask in a sense
of umbrage ?
To witness a lotus blossom
in bloom, or to remain
shackled in my shame ?
Today I will seek
to dismiss the impression
I have of a limited identity
I will respond
to undue pressure with
acts of kindness
I will take up mentally
my willful engagement
with anger and regret

freedom
To believe in myself is finite

Various Colours Of Silk
Come with me my love
as the world is asleep
and clouds like wreaths
hide the moon
Where oceans claim tears
from hearts that weep
to return them as pearls
by noon
Your skin my love like
liquud gold tastes of
honey and milk
I drink you in with loves
shadowy dreams in
various colors of silk
These wings I have woven
from truth that is golden
a promise from stars and
the moon
A promise to love you
love you forever
forever would be too soon
as the world is asleep

Halo Of The Sundog
You're lambent touch
liberates my mind, my consciousness
How infinite you are
luminous
like the sun's apricity against
my skin
The scent, of your intention
lingers
it's fragrance like hyacinth amplifies an awakening
Challenge me, infuse me
with you're philter
I want to feel the pulse
of the moon through
our loins
You occupy my senses turning
my dross into gold
In vermillion fields where
fragile sough escapes my
lips then rises to catch
an endless cerulean sky.
