Garden Flowers
Tulips can’t be roses
Daisies can’t be red
Though all are born in the soil
Of the dewy sun baked flower bed
Weathering the rain
And the heat of summer sun
Burning overhead
Together
Bright as can be
Reaching towards the sky
Freshening the air
One reaches higher
Yet the other is never outshined

Synergy
The mystical flow of nature
Rippling on the river banks
Along the edge of the forest swooshing
The day breathes
In the light
And radiant energy
Synergy
Of the heat
And drying rain dew
Under wispy cotton candy clouds
And endless deep blue
the horizons far side
The backdrop of evening hues
The home of falling stars
The moon
And eternal nighttime views
Rippling on the river banks
Along the edge of the forest swooshing
The day breathes
In the light
And radiant energy
Synergy
Of the heat
And drying rain dew
Under wispy cotton candy clouds
And endless deep blue
the horizons far side

The moon

What lies on the mountain’s other side
The journey to the peak
Arduous and long
Hillside the wind carries a song
At the top
Just beyond the clouds
Over the ice and snow caps
Only the silence howls on
The valleys lead toward
Cliffs and higher plains
Rare flowers bloom
Peeking in the sunlight
From within stone cracks
Deer and goats roam
Sunlight warmth
Upon their backs
The path to the top
The highest icy pinnacle
Climbers try to find
While paying no mind
To the vast thriving warm sun soaked
Abundant wilderness

Arduous and long

Sunset moon
Over the ocean deep blue

Blue sky
Hawk circles in sunlight
Beneath puffy clouds winds whisper
Secrets of old tides
Standing tall
Daisy flowers honeysuckle bushes
And soft flower trees
Sway in the midst
Of birds bees and butterflies
In the gentle breeze
Hovering over the meadow fields
Of the dragonfly and trickling streams
Meandering down to the
Riverside scenes
Wherein the evening
The pale moonlight gleams
Illuminating the path
To the sea
And the tranquility
Of peaceful dreams

White Waters
The thrill of the journey is an adventure with no destination
An expedition on the wild river uncharted
Meandering in a steady rush
Through the breeze and forest trees
Into the calmness of still water
And sunshine
Awaiting
Beneath skies of azure
And
Puffy white clouds
Of daydreams
Turning into night dreams
In the fantastic canopy
Of dreamy twlight hues
Dimming slow
As the moon, planets
and stars begin to glow
“Life itself is beautiful, you just have to live it in order to be happy.”

On a pale moonlit night
What could be better?
Such are the desires and pleasures of life

Waveriders
In pursuit of the most thrilling
Bone chilling
Fantastic fantasy
Upon cliffside scenes
New waves breaking
Are reborn dreams
Set in reality
Fading sometimes in the tides
And autumn light
Calm seas turning into dreams
Dreamt in the night

by the early morning light
the ocean’s calling all
enticed by
the most alluring sight
