POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
In my spare time I have been known to end pointless threads with a quick kill. And rarer than that is when I write poetry.
Peotry and Poets
Poetry is the conveyance and making of imagination and experience often in the form of words. It adheres to no rules, no structure, no form, no blueprint, but must have an 'essence' and leave an imprint upon mind, heart and soul, no matter how small. It is where the words have meaning beyond their parts.
- A Poet: a conveyor of and creator of imagination and experience often through words, where the words or medium has meaning beyond its individual parts, that is not evident or apparent in its form at first sight. A mutable path towards the often repeated goals of life, death, and...

Marriage
Marriage seems to me to be Nerevar; Moon and Star - Hot and Cold. It is when two people seem to be a pair: not one organism working as one but two fish going their own way but connected none the less. Not chained together doomed to drag each other down, or bound by gold and garlands to never see darkness or sorrow and only see through rose tinted glass houses.
The everyday parts of Marriage are: Familiarity, Journey (Hills and Valleys, highs and lows), Argument and Agreement, Give and Take through Compromise, Love in all its splendid and unsplendid forms, Shaped by each event but...

The Ten Commandments of Thou Shall Not and Thou Shall
1. Thou Shalt have no God or Gods but of your own free choice, and shall not impose yours upon others. When thou is forced to have one or enforces others to have as such, no thing will have thee.
Thou Shall be free in choice.
2. Thou Shalt not make any idol that you cannot be, or anything into a likeness beyond its capacity in heaven or on earth or below. You shall only bow to those who you lovingly serve, for though they may be a jealous God, the sins of the parents and of the children are only theirs which they shall answer for. Yet I lavish a thousand loves upon the...

The Poet's Progress
Birthed to the land as an outsider
A real unknown quanitity feature
Ground-level word-spinning spider
Beginner dubbed Strange Creature.
Venturing forth into the maze
Allowed to sure-footedly tinker
Turning some heads to gaze
Upon the established Lost Thinker.
Bathed in the creative sleep
Gearing up web-weaving steamer
Aiming at the calling deep
This path-lost Twisted Dreamer.
Now rises with the normal tide
Writing the unexpected much
Bearing gifts of the deep side
A true Thought Provoker such.
Enveloped in...

The Comedian's Failure
"As I was saying to your mum about you and your sister, I am not too bothered about what you do, just as long as you are happy."
An unexpected heart to heart phrase Dad said one evening,
Now if only I could be inspired by it
Maybe even wake up and care about it.
But like just about everything: I no longer care.
A monster's monster:
Waving an axe around but taking no pleasure.
Just a statuesque blank empty unending stare
The same I would've given people when they talk
Instead my eyes look everywhere except at them.
All the...

The Art of Art
Lord Viddax said:
Art is not War,
It is change
It is words
Of Life and Death,
It is a Road
Many follow
Many make
A matter
To be considered.
There are no rules:
Only guidelines;
Styles to follow
Paths to travel
Paths to choose
Styles to create.
The good writer
Does not write for victory
Or write out of defeat
They write good words
Words of
Sorrow
Joy
Pain...

Elegy for a soul - It is dead to this world
I feel so empty but not dark
No thoughts of sex or rape or
or some other damn view-heavy tagline
Or drink or drugs
Or comment cabbages or rant-kings
Can heal me.
No dark desire or light talk
will remove these wings from my shoulders
And I'll grow no horns,
and march to no war
and smile nor cry no more
and be no human.
The Greeks most likely have a word for this
Though 'ennui' does not fill this void.
I have sailed the darkest seas of the soul
Tasted and tried each charred ember
to give only a cold reaction.
What sound shall...

Maybe one day I'll live their fantasy
Posted upon the office wall is this picture.
And each day I look at it
I wonder, why?
Each time looking for new meaning
But he just stares back
Stubbornly saying nothing
While she dances
A dance of death?
Some days I emphasize with the minotaur
Stuck in a bleak place while
Freer spirits twirl and parade around me
And some days I feel like the dancer
Joyous and light and bounding
Through a fading wreathed world of colours
Killed by chemicals
With the light far off and blocked
By blind idiots.

Irony?
Irony is known but not known it seems,
And that’s an irony in itself.
Anyone can give you an example
Yet,
The definition escapes all
So that we get a single idea
But a Thousand true ways,
And all this from the human race
Who still fight amongst itself for 'One-ness';
One God, One Currency, One Truth, One Race
- Yet the most diverse thing in the whole of space.
So here we are left with an Irony’s Irony
Based upon an audience and a voice
But I have no voice or audience
Or to be Ironic, a Lord with nothing to be Lord of
Or better yet,...

A Visual of Viddax
A Visual of Viddax
Look upon his mask for you will not see a face,
Ony the Hidden and enigmatic
A facade erected
A bulwark against so called 'normal' reality
A laughing lord,
A scorning lord,
A laughable lord.
Whatever kingdom you create
He will not and cannot join,
As he is Lord of himself and barely that.
Behind such a re-sundered veil
What madness lies within?
Many questions form in that face
Yet very few answers are available.
For when so many judge by appearance
The visage makes all...

Here's a joke (pretty_normal 'I'm the joker' competition)
Seems the worlds just got another villain
And this one used guns!
How original, how very silver-screen thinking
Excuse the sarcasm, I didn't know you were allergic.
'A spoonfull of madness
Will help the medication go down'
As mother always said.
Oh lighten up you dull dullard.
I am not just some simple crook
Oh no, not me
I am amazing you see,
You see.
See I kill with kindness
And help the fans get one step closer to the action.
With a smile on my face and a knife in your back
We'll be off to a wonderful time,
Of music, mayhem...
